Project Runway Season 3

Im boycotting Project Runway!!! This dumbshit they're doing is unacceptable!!

Today I passed by Macy's in Herald Square only to see Vincent's dress in the window, people taking pictures I walked up and said "that sh*t hurts like a hangover"

ahhhh I can't stand jeffrey. He's so insecure and takes it out on everyone else. He looks horrible in the jetsetter outfit and has metal on his crotch.

I am once again very disappointed.

#1- How is Vincent's outfit fit for an international jet setter? It was pijamas in black!

#2- Jeffrey winning is a joke! Not because he irritates the hell out of me, but because Laura and Michael seemed more diserving. When the judges rip on Kane for looking like Elvis, Uli for being too Miami how can they accept Jeffrey being over the top rocker? Oh well...

#3- I am glad Angela was eliminated, her outfit was horrible but i think this time Vincent had to go. To make something so basic that is not made to perfection and get by to the next round is odd.

Well now i wonder who Jeff will fight with.... perhaps Laura?

Not just basic and badly made, but he downright cheated by copying his old pants exactly, even down to the back pocket flaps. Keith got sent out for owning books, but at least he wasn't flipping through them and copying stuff right in the workroom - Vincent literally had the pants on the worktable, and copied them exactly. Poorly, at that, actually. I'm surprised nobody seemed to have a problem with that.

We have found a judge that is even meaner than Michael Kors in a way! Catherine with her "fake pop star" comment to Kayne was hysterical!!!

I loved that this challenge made them model everything themselves. It shows how designers have this whole vision and why models were invented haha. Now I see why so few designers take the runway (Miucca Prada ducks out for a moment , waves, and retreats). They were all nervous, stiff, and funny as hell!

I thought Michael should have won, his design for that shirt was very well made and well done. I'm even thinking about entering the auction for the shirt because I liked it that much. The pants were also very nice but I didn't like the straps on them. The idea of lightweight cargoish seersucker pants is amazing. I loved it all.

Jeffery was ok, but very...chincy looking. Heidi said it looked expensive?? I thought it looked like something you'd find at goodwill and made out of lame.

Laura's was very well done. I was a little iffy on the color choice against her pale pale complection, but it kind of worked. And there's nothing like a pregnant women travelling in 4 inch heels haha. Did anyone see next week where she lets her tummy hang out of her shirt! haha.

I'm so glad Angela's gone. She has yet to do anything that involves a vision. She sits down to draw in this challenge and she's like..oh..here's my head, my shoulders, annnnnnnnnnd I'm done. Her top was so ill-fitted and disgusting. And the biker books with the pants/shorts with those horrible rossettes. She keeps saying how she had little time and not enough time. Welllll sweetheart, you sat there for 6 hours making little flowers to arrange in the shape of a flower on your ***.

Vincint's was like...what the hell. A v-neck shirt and pants. Whoop-de-freakin-do.

Kayne's was also a disappointment. I feel bad for Donatella Versace and being compared to that awful butterfly print. If he would have made a different pant and lost the Kayne belt, he might have saved himself. The whole, black on black with the rhinestones wasn't working for him. He could have done so much more.

I loved Michael Kors' reactions this week. The face he made was unforgettable and he was just sooo mad at most of them. He LOVES Michael though. He never has a bad thing to say and loves his design concepts. I wouldn't be suprised if he offers him a design position, and hopefully it works out better than Daneil V. from last season.

Uli - Very Gaultier, and it wasnt particularly jet-set, very LA like MK said.

Kayne - Wow, that sh*t hurt like a hangover. It was so loud. Catherine Malandrino is so brutal. He thought Tara Reid was a hip jetsetter, god bless him...She can't get into Hyde!!

Laura - Gorgeous. Absolute perfection in every way.

Jeffery - I really loved his look, it looked really expensive, not as in good quality but expensive as in Id expect to pay alot for a lame blazer.

Angela - THANK YOU JESUS!! She's gone. Her outfit was so bad, I mean...the flourchons on her bum, is that some sort of JOKE!?! SERIOUSLY...she always looks so jacked up.

Vincent - No design.

Michael - At first glance I didnt particularly care for this look, but the seersucker pants sold me, I normally hate cargos but he made them WORK...Very cute

Michael Kors was particularly animated and hilarious this episode. And now I want to go back to Paris!! Laura is sooo funny, excited because she's flying first class. Who is her bag by? I want to say Hermes because Hermes is VERY Laura.

i like jeffrey. I agreed with his winning since i think the outfit worked better in more places. michael's, which was great, seemed only great for tropical places

As far as traveling goes, I would wear Vincent's if it were tailored a little better. It looked ultra comfortable and wouldn't attract so much attention as with the other designs. I also wonder how in the hell Jeff would get through the metal detectors with the crotch clasps or whatever they were. It was jet for a very limited set...

Catherine Malandrino is so brutal.
 I love the French and I love Catherine Malandrino!
I just listened to Tim's podcast and he said, if you can believe it, that they had to do like 6 takes of her "assessments" b/c what she initially said to Angela and Kayne was way harsher/unbridled.
She says something like this: "Angela you are making me sick with this. I don't think I can stand it anymore!" and " Kayne, are you crazy?"
Tim said, to be fair, she was also more exuberant with her giving of compliments to the designers she liked than the NY judges were.
You all MUST watch the extra footage clips on Bravo- I was laughing aloud.
Seems across the board everyone disliked Angela- even Michael made fun of her outfit.
Watch the Jeffcam "fleurshawn" clip and the Ruckercam where Uli cuts Angela off when telling a looooong story :innocent: and says to not give so much background
In the CM extra clip, when they are explaining their look to CM, Jeff's makes the most sense and is the most confident.
Uli rambles and is practically making excuses.
Angela is defensive.
Kayne is nervous and it made me feel sorry for him.
Michael sounds not as confident as he usually does.
Vincent had me on the floor  he full-on lied to CM (b/c she clearly had no knowledge of the fruit bowl hat or the refrigerator paper nightmare squiggle dress or the Twiggy "Brady Bunch" big pocket fiasco or the space cadet lime green gown)...she said his look was very anonymous and he came back with a Keith type bs line...he told her that his designs are about simple and clean and that is what he prefers...simple lines  I burst out laughing...gotta love that quick thinking kooky Vinnie!
He did simple b/c he had no experience with menswear I suspect. :shifty:

I didn't see what bag she carried last night, but Tim said in the dog challenge that she put her dog in her Hermes bag during the dog challenge.

Uli - Beautiful dress but I am sad to say, I agreed with the judges on the fact that she hasn't shown much creative versatility. However, I really think they should have held back on those comments for THIS challenge, as it was a dress for herself and so obviously it was going to be the style she liked. I think if they were going to criticize her for this, they should have done it on a challenge where the objective was to be very forward thinking and to design a fresh garment for someone else.

Michael - Loved it. His shirt was really nice, if I were a guy I'd want to buy it! It was very modern and so clean/tidy! And also he looks great in all white like that. His pants, I would have also loved those a lot if they didn't have the straps. They reminded me of raver pants from when I was a kid hehe. otherwise I think he is just fab, I hope he wins. He's so well-rounded, unapologetic and versatile!!

Angela - Good riddance. Sometimes I wonder how people like her, boring people like Robert and frauds like Kieth get on the show in the first place with all of the talented designers who must apply...

Jeffrey - To everyone saying his outfit looked cheap, have you ever seen the pricetags on the kind of glam/punkrock/trashy clothing like the stuff he wears, especially the high end stuff? A jacket like that could easily be a couple hundred, as well as the pants. I have a friend who dresses like him and most of his clothes cost more than mine lol. I thought it was cool for the challenge. he knew what he wanted to do straight away, executed it nicely and along with Michael, had the most complete looks imo.

Laua - I really loved her dress! and I actually thought she looked great. Again, though, another high-waisted, simple dress which is what they criticized her for before! but didn't ssay anything about it this time. I think she is an impeccable tailor but I'm not so sure design is her fotre. She is very boring and not creative really, despite the fact that I'd definitely have worn some of her garments

Kayne - sweet jesus, he looked ridiculous. He is sweet and I thought it was nice that Michael was trying to help him with his walk, it was cute. Kayne is so tacky, it's just his style. I really loved the pink dress but I haven't like his things since tbh

Vincent - Please, I just can't stand him. In his boxer shorts this week, saying how the dress from last week turned him on... ugh. :sick:Please leave already

I thought that is Hermes. She had a Louis Vuitton luggage with her in last night's episode.;)

vincent talking about his garment was sooooo funny... it sounded like an ad for old men... "I like something I can put on with comfort and ease that doesn't wrinkle..."!!! he could be talking about old men diapers or something for all i care!

i dont think angela belonged on the show at all...why on earth was she cast?

In the first blog that Rucker, the producer writes, he said he coveted her vintage LV luggage. It shows her carrying a suitcase in during Episode 1.

Could anyone understand what the next challenge has to do with? I was in a room with a bunch of chatty girls, and I missed the preview!!

Anyways, I love Michael so much. He should have won...hands down. And thank god Angela is OFF!!!

I agree. Their criticisim on her lack a verastility was ill timed. She designed the dress for herself and her taste. I also thought it was a bit contradictory to say that it was not a jetsetter outfit because they could only see it in LA, Miami, the South of France, etc....how do they think Uli would get to all those places...by boat? :p Just bacause it is not NY-Paris jetset, does not mean it is not jet set...just my 2 cents :)

I felt bad that Angela had to fly all the way to Paris only to turn around. I also think Jeff was very tacky in his comments about Angela leaving. He knows he is a good designer and that Angela is not a skilled as the rest. To kick her while she was down was just bad form. Boo Jeffery. What a sore winner.
