Project Runway Season 3

^I don't think they chickened out at all. This is the 3rd season, they wanted to spice it up and I apprieciate that. Plus, THEY make the rules, so they can play by them however they see fit.

Now I really wonder who will win, since all four collections will be judged.

I thought Uli's photo of her model with the street performers looked straight out of a magazine. Very impressed with he photographic skills. I also like Jeffery's photo (although the dress was a little flat, I am not a fan a velvet...reminds me of 9th grade homecoming dresses) I thought Laura's photo was very unflattering for the dress and the model. She looked hunched over.

I agree with Uli's photo. It was a great shot.

Yay all four are going to Fashion week! I'm so excited!

Jeffrey_ not all it was cracked up to be, but when he explained it to be red, white, and blue I thought (this is going to be trainwreck!) and it slightly was. Without the velvet it would have been trully romantic, the velvet cheapened it for me.

Uli- great job no flowy long sillouhette, but I want to see her move out of prints and see the true design. I wonder if she is hiding behind prints to make up for a boring pattern.

Laura_ God love her! But the same old stuff all the time! If she wins will she be able to move into different seasons and make dresses inspired by abstract feelings or will she make a v-neck cocktail dress evry single damn time.

Michael- Dear michael I love him and I want to see a black guy win project runway(I am one myself) but his dress seemed like a versace dress gone wrong, but it had potential though.

Season 3 Having the dubious distinction of being auf'd so early into season 3 didn't put a damper on Breton's big design plans; it probably just gave him more time to assemble his masterful spring '07 collection, which was unveiled at the recent New York Fashion Week. The collection — in mostly white and cream hues, with dashes of red and black thrown in — was sophisticated and obviously inspired by lingerie. The gorgeous pieces (loose silk pants paired with see-through shirts, bathrobe-style dresses, and fitted sheaths with dolman sleeves paired with a contrasting sash) made us wonder why Breton was let go so early.

Season 3 Yes, her style was a little more ''New York downtown hipster'' than most women could take, but she was cute, doe-eyed, and full of promise. And we have to give her credit for never deviating from her aesthetic. (Remember her monochrome dog walking outfit complete with a bouffant? She was sooo ahead of her time — Scarlett Johansson wore a similar look at the L.A. premiere of The Black Dahlia.) Her new spring '07 line, Dahl, which debuts exclusively this fall at shopbop.com, is full of girlie mini dresses, cropped jackets, and simple shifts. The collection, Alison says, is based on ''an old Victorian dollhouse with antique furniture and inspired by the late gothic era with a '60s flair.'' Okay, so clarity in describing her designs was never Alison's strong suit...

H ow bad at sewing is Project Runway final-four contestant Jeffrey Sebelia? A few months ago, the show’s uneliminated contestants left the supervision of the producers to go home and work on their collections. But when they returned for their group show at Bryant Park, fellow contestant Laura Bennett accused Sebelia of cheating. Three weeks earlier, Tim Gunn, Parsons fashion design chair and the show’s mentor, had visited Sebelia in L.A. and declared, “He had a lot of work to do.” Word reached Bennett, whose mother had met and become friendly with Sebelia’s mother. Upon seeing Sebelia’s miraculously finished collection, Bennett told the producers she believed Sebelia had outsourced his sewing—which would disqualify him. “His collection was very ambitious,” says Gunn. “I wasn’t born yesterday.” Adding fuel to the fire was Sebelia’s rather unfinished style of construction throughout the show. “We took the accusation very seriously, and we did a very intense and thorough investigation,” says Gunn. Bravo would not allow him to reveal the resolution. The three finalists will be revealed September 27, and the winner October 18. Sebelia didn’t return calls.

drakulita, that has already been discussed a few pages back in this thread. A Bravo spokesperson said it would be addressed in an upcoming episode.

Michael now has braces, what's up with that? He looks cute with them, but I liked him with the gaps in his teeth. :) Bradley is a stud, he shaved his head and his beard, he looks great either way!
I am glad Michael won the favorite designer $10,000, but I would have prefered Alison.

Did anyone notice Michael Kors' hair? It wasn't it's normal blonde, it looks like he let it gray out.

does anyone know who makes the redish brown handbag that laura carries on the show?

^^If it's the bag she put the dog in on the dog challenge, Tim Gunn identified it as a Hermes bag on either his podcast or his blog.

Did anyone see the reunion?
I couldn't believe Keith's version of the events!
Why didn't he bring that up when they were kicking him off if it were true?

Keith came off as a vile vile person. Vincent looked insane and dangerous. What aweful people. I would hate to every have to work with someone like either one of them. They think their opinions are the end all be all.
