RIP Alexander McQueen CBE 1969 - 2010

oh no no no no no no no no..no..Mcqueen you're my Mcqueen I havent even bought ur pieces how can you just go....
RIP..

I feel like an empty shell since hearing about his tragic death. He was the reason I wanted to play in the game of high fashion, the reason I wanted to be a designer. His imagination knows no bounds and his technical ability raises him to be master of all. LONG LIVE KING MCQUEEN!

I hope you will rejoice in your reunion with the God, the angels, your mom, and Isabella.

I walked to the McQueen store in LA on my lunch break, just thinking I would pay my respects or something. The store was closed, but there was a small memorial out front (I have seen the pictures from the NYC one, but not LA) and people pausing to pay their respects or going there just for that.

flowers, a candle, and tiara. I grabbed a piece of scrap paper from my bag, wrote RIP Lee on it and added it under the candle. I felt like I needed to add something, but I wasn't prepared

the front of the store. Its so sad its all decorated with skulls considering, but its also so beautiful.

I just thought I would share. All pic are by me.

I came home to this news and all I can say is that I am shocked and so sad!
AMcQueen was the reason why I got to love fashion, he was the inspiration for me to follow and study fashion as what can be: art.

I am so shocked.

that is true for me as well. He was the reason I explored and followed fashion and his art. Empty shell is the least of feelings for me. so sad.

This is obviously bad news. It was too overwhelming for him and needed an escape from the pain. :(

Words completely fail me.
Rest in peace incredible soul. We all love you so much.

I refuse to believe this!!how could this have happened!!!
McQueen was one of the most talented, if not the most talented designer out there. I was always so excited to see his collection every season,,, I don't know what i should look forward to now,,,,
This indeed is the greatest lose in fashion world yet.

Still in shock from the news. I was actually asleep when my sis told me this morning. I was like, yea... yea... okay and then, it sunk in.

R.I.P Alexander McQueen. You will always be remembered.

This is tragic. His line is what I looked forward to the most during fashion week...

R.I.P. Alexander McQueen. No one will ever compare.

McQueen was the first designer who inspired me, and still let me learn a lot in these days.
I could never forget how brilliant he is. You define the decade, McQueen.
R.I.P

What a terrible, horrible loss to the industry. He was brilliant: the best. Sad. Very.

He truly was Alexander the Great. He was so consistent and focussed on everything he had ever done.
