RIP Alexander McQueen CBE : 1969 - 2010

after 24 hours I'm still shocked and speachless, I really feel my heart broken too tragic McQueen is gone..
and I'm so irritated that here in Italy the "country of fashion" tv news newspaper websites nodoby said a word about this tragic loss. here were I work nobody knows who Alexander McQueen was, they make fun of my "skulls scarf" , I guess I must be proud of my family, mu mum yesteday was in tears like me, my sister too she's shocked , my dad asked us something more about him and his works..this is not only about fashion , his death is a tragic loss for the human culture.

My mind refuses to believe this, such a genius and so much thought went into the garments, construction, shows, everything.

RIP Mr McQueen.

I still can't believe this. It's just so, so sad. what an incredible talent. his work was sometimes too beautiful I couldn't look at it without my heart beating really fast. he was beyond fashion, he was a genius. he's given so much beauty and was really the only designer who made my stomach flit with excitement and blood pump faster.

It's understandable how sensitive his passing away has shocked us all... and I mourn the loss of such exquisite talent.
I feel guilty and selfish for meaning this; but how could he leave his legacy like this in his prime?!

I'll really miss Alexander McQueen. He changed my outlook and perspective in fashion. Before, I really loved regular and chic RTWs but when I saw his collection, I loved fashion more. He showed that there are more that comes with cuts, layerings and ideas.

His death will really mark a big change in fashion. He changed fashion in his own little way. He influenced people. So sad to see him go.

I really hope that his undone F/W'10 collection wouldn't be altered nor completed. I want it to be released the way he left it.
