RIP Alexander McQueen CBE : 1969 - 2010

I was so upset to hear this. I hope that, at the very least, they will produce more of the last collection and some of his "classic" items so that his fans will have one more chance to have a piece from this brilliant designer.

RIP ...MCQ You are the best master of fashion ...i hope your legacy will go on 4 ever

Does anyone know of any Shirts that have been made since his death to remember him by? I would love to have something of the sorts to remember him by. I have only seen this one so far.

i get a pain in the pit of my stomach every time i think about this...
...

the amount of pain he must have been in to go this route is just overwhelming to think about...

I bet Mr McQueen himself couldn't ever of imagined the impact his death has had on so many people in the world. One just has to look at the newsstands in Britain and the amount of column inches dedicated to him and his work to realise the significance he had on fashion and culture at large, reassurance to many who have felt a personal loneliness at this very sad time.

I am still in shock,,,
did he go through with his paris fall collection? if he was working on them, it would be almost finished wouldn't it? I think he would have at least finished designing,,,
I hope the people at Alexander McQueen finish his last collection, i am not ready to let go yet,,,I hope they can show McQueen's last collection to honour him this season.
I would cry if that happened,,,

R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

Like everyone here, I was so shocked yesterday. I've been meaning to start a blog up for months, and I decided to dedicate my first post to this talented man. Writing it was a cathartic experience, hope you enjoy it. I know the McQ show was cancelled here yesterday. I would think most of his collection that is due to show in Paris is done, I hope it is still on. I know it will be bittersweet and emotional. R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

I can't even feel happy about Fashion Week knowing that we lost such a visionary and influential person. It hurts that his passing is a reality. Very devastating. :(

^ I feel like that too. It's such sh!t timing  I have no passion to enjoy fashion week now.

Lee 'Alexander' McQueen in his own words:

First Daul Kim, now McQueen. One of my favorite models, and one of my favorite designers. What empty spaces they have left.

Tell me about it... this news made me so depressed I declined every invitation from my friends to go out and party. I'm definitely not in the mood to celebrate anything right now.

This sounds really lame but I cried a little bit this morning when I was reading a piece on him in the newspaper. So devastating.

a day after and i'm still shocked and saddened after reading the still-coming reports.
there is no other quite like him.

Alexander McQueen was my true fashion inspiration. He was the epitome of genius. We lost a legend and I can't grasp the fact that he is no longer with us. Here are pictures taken right before a dinner tonight honoring "Alexander the Great." You will truly be missed, Lee.
