Roberto Cavalli F/W 2021.22 Milan

This is overkill, It’s so saturated and diluted at the same time.

Always good to see Mark. Some of the men's accessories is really cool, but this is not it at all....

It dull and not as sexy as they are pushing it to be, the animal print is just an overkill, and that American muscle car is so far removed from what Cavalli is about.

I understand Cavalli is not an elegant brand, but this collection is really on another level of tackiness in the trashiest way! Lol, Puglisi is really pushing Cavalli to become the trashiest high fashion brand.

Legacy and spirit of Cavalli RIP

The other day I was watching the older Cavalli shows and now seeing this makes me sad and angry at the same time. Looks cheap and trashy. I just can't:angry:

It’s so on the nose. And quite frankly it is a very specific and outdated idea of Cavalli. He wasn’t all about animal prints. The mans career goes back decades! Dundas failed because he never expanded on the heritage and history of the brand. The customer here doesn’t exist anymore. The modern woman has more intelligence and range and even a sense of humor. Nobody wants to look like they belong on the real housewives!

When I saw the preview on Vogue I thought I would hate due to the literal 'Cavalli' interpretation it but I wont lie there are some really kickass pieces here that would look amazing with denim or something more subtle. The presentation and styling looks a little tacky but am sure some of those separates are going to look pretty awesome on some stylish celebrities an d models. I would rather have this overkill than Dundas snoozefest, at least its not on Phillip Plein tacky levels.

Now tat I look at the presentation, I dont mind it either they look like some 'Tiger King' Dixie mafia family.

The audacity to recreate the Aaliyah dress, but cheap :ninja:

The fact he’s still doing the same sh*t he did for his own brand makes me MAD and also think why on earth hire someone with zero creativity? Why is that too much to ask for during these days?
Cavalli was on the edge but now is dead.

Yikes... my eyes were not prepared to see this mess Cavalli is not the most elegant house but it certainly doesn't have to look like it belongs to a music video ho or a hood rich insta thot

I like a few looks...The black degrade leopard full skirt is quite nice. Strapless slit black gown is very good and that cut up slip the male model and asian model are wearing is prob the best that style of dress is ever gonna get.

I'm prob gonna buy the leopard sequin blazer...:ninja:

I just think Cavalli should be a heritage brand at this point and not have any designer, just a design team to do Roberto's looks in new color ways etc...

Cavalli himself has moved onto interior design where he really excels. You guys should look at his furniture, it's very over the top but it works...
