Rodarte for Target

L.A. area stores were sold out within hours of the launch, and unfortunately I missed it. Generally there will be pieces left over weeks later, but the stores were cleaned out. Being an XS, there was just no way. It's alright, I'll just save that money for my custom Rodarte wedding dress (if that day ever comes!)

The Target here in Council Bluffs, IA (outside Omaha) has TONS of Rodarte on the shelves. Plenty of XS left, which I was surprised by. It's as if none of it has been scooped up.

There is this lacy-type blue 1/2 sleeve shirt I saw that I really liked... $16.99... been thinking about that one.

Didn't like the leopard dress in person. It photographs well, though.

For anyone who bought the socks could you post a pic? I guess a store near me still has some available but Im having a horrible time getting there with the weather & then the holidays. Probably by the time I get there theyll be gone but Im hoping not.

I got my blue dot dress today! Its beautiful and makes me look skinny but then my mom rocked my confidence by saying it looked like a ballet dress--especially when I put on a pair of white lace leggings that I thought looked cute--and showed too much skin! I wanted to say, "Are we suddenly the Duggars?!"
Has ANYONE seen the yellow & black leopard print belt? I haven't even seen it on ebay! Also, I'm thinking about getting the lace cardigans as well--if I can find any after Christmas!

So I just got back from the Target that supposedly had the socks but they didnt have them & I didnt see any place where they could have been displayed. Weird... wonder whats up with that.

They did have alot of the collection though but they were about to close so I wasnt able to try anything on. *sigh* Will be going back on Saturday probably.

Just wondering about the lace cardigans... how do they run size wise? I normally would wear a XS or S but M was the smallest they had.

I'm actually returning everything I bought minus the lace cardigan. I got swept up into the fact that it was Rodarte for Target. I really wanted to love the leopard dress, but the fabric is stiff and scratchy and the fit is too weird on me. I feel like I'm putting on a dry clean only dress that has been washed.

my thoughts exactly. I'm returning everything but the tights and nude knee high socks. I get so caught up in the craze, but the 100 dollars I spent would definitely be better suited towards a killer pair of heels or boots. and I would wear them wayyy more.

I think the cardigans are TTS. The M would be a loose-ish fit for you.

Which Target in the Chicago-land area carried the collection? I live in the suburbs and haven't had any luck finding them in Target stores! :/

I kinda feel that way myself. There are very few places where I could wear the blue dress and the floral halter dress, but it's Rodarte...I could never afford their real line, so this is the only way I can really support them. The clothes are still very cute though.

I just got back from Target AGAIN lol this time I actually got to try on a bunch of stuff. Most of it was ok but just not worth the prices for the quality in my opinion. The gold lace cardigan in medium didnt seem to big but I was unsure of it because of the length... Im only 5 ft. Also I just kept asking myself if this was just a regular Target item & not Rodarte would I still want it & I wasnt sure if I would so I didnt get it.

The funny thing is the one thing I really like was the one thing that looked the cheapest on the hanger & thats the sheer bow shirt in navy. I loved it on but then Id take it off it it looked like crap lol. I still want it but couldnt justify the price. They had lots so Im hoping it was still be available when they go on sale.
Did anyone get it?

I STILL wish I could find the socks but they didnt have them... even mixed in with the clothes... I think I would have noticed them.
