S/S 2019 Campaign Wishlist & Model Casting Discussion, Guesses and Reactions

Gigi is a great model and unarguably the best of the instagirls. I’d rather Prada book an experienced model instead of a bland newbie that will blip anyways. As for the “2010” girls my first thought was Iselin Steiro. Lindsey Wixon and Rasa Zukauskaite made and appearance at Miu Miu and they were Prada and Miu Miu’s campaign girls in 2010.

Even if Steven Meisel's still out the picture at Prada, I'm very much for seeing a shift in the casting and would be more than willing to see Gigi Hadid become the face of Prada. Even just the thought of another campaign with Kris Grikaite and all the other usual suspects is redundant (never mind the outcome)!

Nevertheless, I just hope the team has done the collection justice, because S/S 2019 was the first Prada collection in years where I've managed to click through every look on Vogue.

Ew really? The collection was forgettable. Spring 14 was out of this world.

If Prada needed a blonde bombshell I'd rather see Anna Ewers back at Prada instead, but at this point I guess they wanted a name. And all these comments makes me feel of Meisel too. It's better be! Because Gigi Hadid by Willy Vanderperre would be laughable af!

At least I hope Rianne Van Rompaey will show up (and Vittoria Ceretti not).

Rianne is not part of the casting. I don't know if Meisel did it, I find it quite difficult.

I think that they've been waiting for a really good collection to give her -finally- the space. The collection is really nice, clean and very direct in a way. All they need is a big name to sell it even more. Imagine how ridiculous she'd have looked in those overstyled collections.
