I know two store managers for sure, they lost on commissions and no cash bonuses for 2024, as if it were their responsability to come up with desirable sh*t. One even left with some leftover inventory to add to their severance.

I fear on what we might see on february...specially bc it's a co-ed show...

It is sad to pass by the Montenapoleone store and see all the sellers at the door waiting for you to enter...that entrance design is the worst....

While at the same time, a lot of people a going to Vuitton stores to buy the Murakami collaboration.
I was making that commentary with a friend of mine from the industry. Pietro Beccarri made the right decision to have a boost of numbers right before the Assemblées Générales. That collab impacts the menswear and womenswear entities of Vuitton.

At Gucci neither the CD or the executive had a strategy to boost the brand at that crucial time.
Very sad…
