Hmm I do like the McQueen pic, surprisingly. Looks like a skinny-person-only look to me.. :)

Yeah, I don't think they're rubbing off on me. The more I see them, the less I like them. They kinda remind me of this

renaissance peasant look or this

style early American presidents wore. But maybe it's just me:lol:

i recently came back from greece and these type of pants were everywhere. i kinda like them...

i greece, girls wear a thai kind of light cotton pants mainly at vacation spots, but they are not really mid thigh low croch, they seem more buggy 'normal'

i have seen a kind of fitted/baggy low croch in Paris but they are not like the ones posted here at all.. no MCHammer , no traditional ethink, more like what i call 'new punk' unfortinately i dont have pics but you can find some browsing my Berlin friend's streetwear designer site at www.btfsf.com :flower:

what kind of shoes were they wearing with them as i cant think of any styles that would go. ??

i like them, there were a lot of girls wearing this kind of pants in bcn:flower:

yes, the Atsuro Tayama look is what i've been spotting in Paris & Berlin, i find it quite cool even if i couldnt really pull it off myself.. this trend as in A.T. catwalk is a very 'teen' thing, the more 'loose' north african version is more 'mainstream' for all ages and bodytypes

*the 'ethnik' look is worn mainly with flat sandals & flip flops from young girls, older women wear them also with heels but it looks bit tacky imHo
*the 'neu look' a-la Atsuro Tayama i ahve seen it only with flats, teens and young guns wearing this kind of trousers in europe love flats, clever as they are they leave heels for their moms :D

**thanks for the pictures posted mirra :flower:

my concern too:flower: , i'm far from teen age, but liking the 'teen 'version much better;) wearing a similar version as in A.T. pic sometimes though, mostly with flat sandals

good for you to give it a try, i also prefer the 'teen' version mirrra, its so much more fresh and much less 'hippy' ;)

I like them. A hybrid between a skirt and shorts, with the best of both worlds. You can sit in them without showing too much, and at the same time they have a softer line than pants.

my first thought is that I've seen these quite frequently in the japanese street style pic.

I'm so mixed about these. the idea of it sounds revolting. but to see them in action I think, if done expertly well, they can be extremely modern and cutting edge. such as in the atsuro tayama pics...

that said, it's not for me...I'm not nearly so brave. ^_^

theese pants are so comfortable, I wear a purple pair today, from Zara, they are a bit funny, there are actually no "legs" on the pants.., and are a bit shorter than the ones in the pics..

I love those pants! I have a pair of black jersey "MC's" like those, from some designer which I can't remember, they're very comfy...

I like them.

I used to wear someone like the ones seraphelle posted when I was like 4. :D
