^Well to me they I can envision them with clothes I like? Floral dresses, denim shorts. My style is different from yours obvs!

How does everyone feel about these Fryes:

PP, the sole of my topsiders wore through fairly quickly, although I do a lot of walking. I like the white Topsiders better than the Fryes :flower:

Pinkprincess, thanks so much for all of the Edelman links. Karma for you!

I'm sure some of you are so over the stud and combat boots trends respectively. However, both are completely my style. What do you think about these freepeople's?

^sani, not my style but they are quite popular and I do get why. They are cool.
Pinkprinces, the Fryes are much better than the first couple you posted! I love the Frye ones and I'd wear them myself! Cute and preppy. I've always liked the preppiness of those style of shoes. But I don't like the ones in post 1653. They look to boyish in an unfashionable way and I kinda hate the soles.

Pinkprincess: I like the 2nd or 4th pair of the topsiders :)
sanitizedfashion: I love combat boots! Def yay!!!

PinkPrincess, yay to the 1st pair and the last pair.
Sanitizedfashion, yay!

sanitizedfashion: Yay! I looove those! I've been thinking of ordering those, too. But I have so many combat boots already I might as weel stud them myself, if I ever find out how to do that
PinkPrincess113 Yay to all of them. I agree that they would look cute with girly and feminine dresses :flower:

So I can only afford Japanese shoes right now, don't let the tacky Winnie Girl logo affect your judgment :ninja::ninja::ninja: Yay or nay to these suede thigh high boots (w/no heels)?

PinkPrincess, nay to the topsiders. i don't think they versatile enough to be worn with tights/leggings/skinnies etc. I can only envision them with casual jeans/shorts and tees. The Fryes however are more mocassins and are much cuter. Have you considered brogues/jazz shoes? If you want flats but no ballet flats they might be a good alternative.

sanitizedfashion, not my style personally but if you like them and they suit your wardrobe, go for them.

michyed, yay!
sanitized i agree with velony. if they match your wardrobe yay!
velony i tried brogues/jazz shoes and they look awful on me.. anything super flat just looks weird :(

pinkprincess113- no likey the topsiders for you. I guess the Fryes would be the best of the bunch. So how about more of a 'driving shoe'/loafer then if you don't want a ballet flat this time around?

sanitizedfasion - yay

michyed - yay; I like how they're styled in that photo too. I don't know how'd I like them with skinnies, tho...almost wish there was a wedge/heel for us to critique...dunno

Sorry about the tiny picture. Walmarts the only thing I can afford now that I'm in college so don't laugh!

PinkPrincess, have you tried penny loafers (or tassle loafers) yet? they might work.

michyed, yay. nothing wrong with them. they look comfy and versatile.

oiselet, yay. like the color.

oiselet - yay, they look totally cheap and cheerful
Just reread my post and what I have just realised that what I said came out completely wrong!

I didn't mean they look cheap, what I meant to say was that they look amazing for the price, as in they look like great 'cheap and cheerful' boots. They look very similar to a pair of Brian Atwoods I got recently, so it's a definite yay.

Sorry my last post probably didn't make sense.
