Shoes : Yay or Nay? #4

The gray loafers in Post #146 are getting a Nay! from me. They're alright, but I'm just not feeling them at all. The flatform sandals in Post #147 also get a Nay! I can tolerate flatforms, but there just aren't too many I really like. These sandals aren't going to make my "recommended" list anytime soon in case someone's trying to put some looks together. You're better off finding a foxy pair of high-heel platform wedge sandals than these flatform sandals.

A pair of nays from me. Sounds like old school John_M. on tFS... Anyhow, you know the drill- dress and shop confidently!

i'm not gonna get the Grey Loafers because i don't think they even come in my size, 5. and i agree i could stand to look around for a 'better' pair

Islandili, yay
Kissablekae, nay
Belladonna, yay (I know everyone else has said nay, haha, oh well, I like them)

if i HAD to choose... left (the right has toes out?)

If I didn't have to choose then neither.

yay or nay? 110 euros

Left or right? I'd rather a pair of rubber clogs or some UGG sheepskin boots than either of those boots (Post #165). (Big) Nay! to both boots. I don't like cap-toe shoes. Don't see what the freaking big deal is on what makes them stylish. If, for some reason, you are forced to choose either one to continue living or if your life depends on choosing between two ugly pairs of shoes, I guess I'd pick the shoes on the left between those two ankle boots. If they are what you want, that's fine; but you can do MUCH better than these two if you're looking for a pair of booties.

Some people just want basics, so that's how I feel about the ankle boots for Post #167. Even with a basic style and shape, they are much better than those nightmare booties I reviewed earlier. They are a Yay! to me unless you want something more enticing and more appealing.

Dress with confidence!

I did not notice the open-toe design on the right-side boots in Post #165. That boot is still ugly. Most of you may know that I have long been one of the biggest haters of open-toe and peep-toe boots. I've seen lovelier peep-toe/open-toe boots than that pair in Post #165. I still am standing behind the "Big Nay!" I gave both pairs. I only posted this comment just to say I noticed the open-toe design on those boots.

I was able to find these shoes at the same price, but could only afford one. If you had to choose, which one would be the one to keep between the two. Thanks for helping.:flower:

Time to sway interest again.

Hi, nat_attak. I'm going to go Big Yay! for those sweet black sandals and Yay! to the brown sandals. Whichever one (Post #173) you want sort of depends on your style. I can easily see the black shoes to be very much evening-appropriate. So these are shoes I'd hold onto if I were to wear a stylish dress or to wear with a gorgeous skirt. The brown sandals are sandals I'd probably wear with a stylish pair of flared jeans or some kind of flared pants. Maybe even have those with a maxi skirt or a maxi dress. The one you should go for depends on your style and whichever one you deem more stylish and complimentary to your style than the other. So it's up to you and your style to determine which is better.

Most of you probably know I am not as excited about oxford shoes or brogues. Having said this, however, the oxford pumps in Post #178 are certainly getting a Yay! from me. I like the overall style and design of the oxford pumps. No doubt I like these.

yadra definite yay! I still love oxfords. Something about them just screams sophisticated and sexy all at the same time.
