I LOVE shorts! I've built up quite a collection, but I would die a happy girl if I could get my hands on a pair similar to those yellow satin one's marykate has, they are divine

They look a lot like basketball shorts, just go to some sportswear place and buy boys basketball shorts ...

ive recently seen lindsay lohan with silk shorts and footless tights, rachel mcadams with silk shorts and footless tights and nicole richie with silk shorts

what do you guys think?

I think Nicole is the only celeb to pull off the shorts look consistently. (Aside from Kate Moss, obviously) Lilo looks absurd, but she does in so many things ... I cannot picture Rachel Adams in them, but when I try it's not good.

I will say that I saw a pic of Rachel Bilson in them and she looked cute. MK & A have looked cute in some of their shorts ensembles too.

I've tried to dress up some of my shorts, but always feel silly pairing them with anything other than a flat or glorified flip-flop & change back. Some of that is a need to feel that my legs are super-skinny to pull it off; and unfortunately I usually don't feel that way.

shorts are here to stay ...
carrying through to next spring....
