I was the one who said that I appreciate that she often wears the same clothes again and no I don't think that she trows her clothes away after one wearing
Heiress or not, making loads of money or not I'm sure her closet is full of very nice clothes and I just wanted to point out that I like her for wearing over and over again her fav pieces, because I'm sure she would have enough clothes to have everyday during fashion a different outfit, no?
but whatever, she just needs to get rid of the diapers now

i don't think you were the only one though...which is why it stood out to me...

to pack for shows is a tough one...
and you can't bring everything in your closet of course...
but you are gone for weeks at a time..
shows during colder months are even trickier because boots and coats and swtrs take up so much room in one's luggage...

so -
what editors usually do is create a sort of capsule wardrobe of safe bets and fave pieces to bring along...
with a few really special newer pieces for the bigger events/dinners/shows...

so yeah- they all do it...
i've even seen carine in the same outfits in both ny and paris...
we just don't see pics of everyone...



i don't know taylor's exact age...
but she is very young actually...
i'd say 30 max...
it looks to me like it's maybe a bit too much matte make up (foundation and powder) that is making her look a bit older than she is...
but in a way that is good for her now because she IS so young and if she looked too young people might not take her quite as seriously on a professional level...

what i would really like to see more of is what she wears on a regular day to work and on appts...
that is what i always want to see with editors...
because that is just more 'real' and that's what interests me most...

I find Taylor to be quite an original dresses. When I saw Natalia wearing the look posted in the second photo below during the most recent fashion shows, I couldn't help thinking that she'd simply "winterized" one of Taylor's most original and photographed looks from last spring's shows, right down to the wedge shoes (Taylor's of course was the Marc by Marc Jacobs dress, Kenzo wedges [notice she was already onto the furry shoe trend back then ] and the Burberry vest). My guess the bright sunlight on her pale skin made her look more severe. I'm not the biggest fan of that larger Chanel bag - unfortunately, all the Hills girls have ruined it for me and I think she just looks like LC toting it around. Her smaller bag was a bit more original and fun.

In fact, i much preferred the way Taylor dressed when she was at Teen Vogue. It was a big younger and more fresh and she didn't seem to take the way she dressed as seriously. I loved the look then of the piled on accessories. Now it comes across a bit more as an attempt to be an "edgy editor" and it's not as successful, in my view.

Oh gosh, you think? I don't see the connection between Taylor and Miroslava. Their styles seem very different to me.

Interesting. ^ I've always seen a similarity between Taylor and one of my favorite actresses, Julianne Moore. Maybe it's the red-head thing but they both have pretty delicate features and a fair skin tone as well.
