^That's a beauty, like the purple very much. Tried to like it on Pinterest, but that feature seems to have disappeared?

^ Thank you :flower:

I can't imagine why they would take away the like ... maybe it's broken atm? :o

That sweater is absolutely gorgeous, Tata. Are you planning to layer it, and with what?

Picked up my new bag yesterday and I love it! I was almost a bit sad that I wasnt able to wear it today. Pictures coming up.

The quality seems good, Nymphaea - the black one should be slightly different since it is acrylic as I recall? But I suppose the construction is the same.

Also, I sold my Stam bag yesterday, which ended up covering the cost of the Gaia. And make space in my wardrobe. Balance, you know. It dawned on me yesterday that I have gotten a new bag every Summer since 2012. Not deliberately, but apppearently that is the time where I shop for bags..

^ Thank you both :heart:

That's funny about your summer bag trend! I think your new bag should be very fun.

I have mentioned before my complete contentment with my Happy bag. I have gotten a couple since (tote, cross-body), but only to meet special needs for specific situations that the other bag can't handle.

Yes, I am planning to layer. Possibly might be able to wear it alone as well?? I have a few things in mind to try. I have pinned my long-sleeved black cardigan with lace trim and my new long-sleeved wool T. Older than my Pinterest is a 3/4 sleeve black cardigan. Hopefully it will work with all of these.

It is definetely different to any of my other bags - I think it will be a great addition. I sold another bag yesterday, so now I am back to a small yet curated collection (this, theory whitney hoop bag, mulberry bayswater, mulberry willow and YSL mail - feels like the perfect collection since they all work for different needs/occasions). Also sold my camera last month, with the money from that and selling these two bags Ive earned 3,5 months of my clothing budget. The best thing about it is the feeling of getting rid of things I am not using anymore, though. I am still keeping within my original budget (not counting the income from the sales), counting this bag as my June purchase.

I would love to be the kind of person who could have just one bag, but I use bags somewhat as statement pieces, and I prefer to carry the smallest bag possible for comfort - my fave in that regard is my Theory bag. But in my daily life I often have to carry more than it can hold. I can easily understand that you are happy about your Happy though. It is gorgeous :flower:

I think your sweater would look gorgous with the lace cardigan. I could also easily see it layered with a white shirt.

My next purchase should be either the skirt or a pair of sandals. I am having a hard time deciding between a pair of sleek black suede sandals with a small block heel and two straps, or a pair of flat sandals in brown leather. I want something that will go with as many outfits as possible and be classic enough to use for years to come.

I wanted to attach a picture of my bag, but I am reinstalling my pc and it is not possible from the tablet. Later, I guess.

^Beautiful, a piece of art and perfect for summer. Congrats!

Super cute, I love it!

The black sandals sound like more fun, but suede you have to be a bit careful with, not to get it wet. I have multiple pair of suede shoes, though, and black is probably the best color to get it in.

Betinapple it is like a sculpture

Tata did i tell you that i broke my happy's chain? i havent brought it to repairman, hopefully it was repairable

No ... ugh. Seems like you might want to take it for repair like jewelry??

Mine is in very good shape ... just wear to the grosgrain, and then where the chain touches the leather, you can see a bit of discoloration. I'm amazed how tough that very soft lambskin is ...

@Ta-ta: thx! I do think the black ones will be more fun - also I like a bit of heel. Even though brown is more flattering in terms of optically lengthening the legs, I think that black sandals with a heel will be better in that regard than brown, flat sandals. I'm not too worried about the suede either. I have had plenty of black suede boots that have held up fine, even when worn in rain and snow. My only worry is that it will not be classic enough (it is kind of a mule sandal, seems maybe a bit too much "now"?)

@Eizhowa: why thank you :wink:

@Floodette
: yeah, it kinda is! I think it can double as home decor :wink:

@Pearlsandtwills: thank you :flower:

Do any of you guys know when Matches usually start their sales?

^^ Well, I've had mule sandals bought in a number of different years ... kinda classic I think? As long as you will keep wearing them, I wouldn't worry about it ...

My feeling is that if an item is really worth buying, it's worth continuing to wear even if its 'hot' factor fades somewhat in following seasons. Best is to buy into a trend while it's on the upswing, so you already have it when the trend peaks :smile:

Valid points! Worth noting, indeed.

I tried them on today though, and just like the last pair of mule sandals I tried on, they were wildly unflattering on me. So maybe it just isn't a style for me. The search continues..

If any of you come across a rust colored bikini, would you give me a heads up? I am not too fussy re. fit.

Something in this color or close to this color;

Sadly, what is pictured above is underwear, not beachwear...
