I have yet to find a male model that has entranced me, like a female model. Male models just dont have that certain somthing that makes them supermodels. Though if we're on a superficial basis, most of them are gorgeous.

So true. I wonder if it is because they do worse campaigns and when they are in good campaigns, they are just props for the women. Anyway, I REALLY cant stand Will Chalker for some reason. I do like Boyd though. Maybe it is the Moto association.

Boyd (Reminds me of Michael Pitt), Rupert Smith (Thanks to the person on the Men vs Boy model thread for introducing me to him -he is just amazing), Girts at DNA, Philip H at NYMM, Andrew Smith at DNA, Reid Prebenda at Vision (also a little Michael Pitt-esque -which is strange because I dont much like Michael Pitt's looks)

I am torn on Gandolfini. Sometimes he looks awesome, sometimes he looks like a hobbit.

Male supermodels

All this talk, talk, talk about supermodels has got me thinking, have we forgotten about the male supermodels?? Why don't we ever talk about them? Why doesn't anyone ever talk about them? AND, why do they seem much less well known than their female "sisters" even if they are about as successful as the women?

Who is your favorite? Mine is Mark Vanderloo or Travis Fimmel. Don't see very much of either of them in the states anymore, do ya? Schenkenberg is okay but he always looks like he is smelling a little bit of dog poo to me......

Is it true that Fimmel is really only 5'10"? I have seen listed as high as 6'. It would be great if he is because I am starting a career as a male model in a year and it would be nice to know someone is my height (5'10", I am only 17 and the dr. says I wil be 5'11" by the time I am 21) as well.

Back to the subject. We should wonder, "why are male supermodels as big of superstars as their counterparts?" Even in the supermodel era, they seemed less well known. Why can't a guy be as famous as Cindy or Linda or Christy or Giselle or Gemma? We could work as hard. Well, we don't look as nice in stiletto's and lingerie as Giselle does:woot: !!!!

in the runway the best one has been scott barnhill.

the walk!

What is so nice about the male runway walk? What do they do so? They just walk to me.

there are a good bit of them. We have Marcus schenkenberg, Tyson Beckford, Travis Fimmel, Mark Vanderloo, the Brewer Twins (do they count?), Antonio Sabato, Jr., Michael Bergin (always want to call him Alex for some reason), and some more.

Brad Kroenig is the only male supermodel right now. Maybe Danny is going to be the next.

Well, you have got to be a "talent", e.g.: photogenic and able to "project" in your pictures just like a woman has to. You should be professional, too. Zoolnder is a Joke! Also, you need a really good body. Abs, pecs, and nice legs. The current look is a bit more lanky than in the 80's and 90's but is still with plenty of muscle definition and strength. And the face! you must have a good ace. Even a doof could tell that!!

It's so annoying to see women everywhere...i mean i,as a girl,wanna see men too...so pics?
