It's actually tradition that the bridesmaids wear the same colour as the bride, it was said to confuse evil spirits. The coloured bridesmaids dresses are a much more modern thing.

seriously, who are those kids? do they come from royal families?
also, anything else on the schedule? 5:35 am here, I feel like taking a nap.![]()
They look genuinely in love, so not like Prince Charles and Diana when they married, this looked like a love marriage. I love the fact that they kissed twice to please the crowd. They seem so happy, I mean, have you seen those little glances when they were in the abbey and those smiles of complicity, they were so cute!
The kisses where so quick. Those kids are so cute, here the man from euronews said that they all are from royal families.
What royal families from other countries attended the wedding? Haven't seen anyone there. I thought swedish, danish and spanish families would be there.
I loved it all. I loved William, I loved Catherine, I loved Queen Elizabeth, I loved the procession, I loved the balcony scene and I loved the kisses. I couldn't have asked for a cooler princess.
The person I kept noticing in the Abbey was Bea and her tall Philip Treacy hat.
