Bon Voyage is awesome. I really like giving them tans, haha, and having beach lots is a really cool feature. I tried playing yesterday after coming to this thread and remembering I had it... but whenever I try to create a sim my computer shuts down! Gah.

Okay can you drown your sims in this version?
I have a older lady I kind of want to kill off so I made her go swimming and took out all the ladders, etc so she couldnt get out. But she did anyway/?!?!

lower her cooking skills, but her in a room, delete the door and make her cook something..
then make her leave it in the oven and it will catch fire and she will die a fiery death..

Using Sims 2, how do I start a fresh? Without deleting all the custom content..

Im pretty sure you will have to uninstall the game. but you will loose all your custom content...
I say just get sims 3

Oh I've done it, I just backed up the 'Downloads' folder which contained the custom content. It work perfectly
My friend has got Sims 3 and I don't find it half as good.

I've recently got back into Sims and the best discovery I've made so far was a site where I could download designer clothes for my sims. It was called thesimsresource.com (I don't want to wrongly advertise so apologies if links aren't allowed).

I used to love sims as a kid.. but havent been on it in years.. debating weather or not to buy sims 3?? would you recomend it?? is it worth all the money..also my laptops quite old now so do you need a really upto date computer for this to work well on?? thanks xx

I love the Sims but I've decided to stick with The Sims 2.

From what I've heard, The Sims 3 isn't that great of an improvement and from the screenshots, the actual Sim avatars themselves look worse and not more individualized at all. They've all had the same round face. I also heard there are many bugs and errors with the game.

I'm going to wait until all of the expansion packs are out so that I can buy the combo packs that EA releases and save some money.

The wolves come onto your lot randomly. They are big furry gray dogs with glowing yellow eyes.
