I absolutely love the way in which she styled those, wow. I am trying to figure if I would have the NERVE to put them on, they are so feminine.
I agree, skinny jeans are best with a loose top, makes for a more interesting silhouette.

but, i don't know, most of my wide-leg pants (2/3, haha) aren't in denim material anyway and the denim pair i have have sailor detailing which makes them cute imo... :shrugs: i think having a lot of visual weight on the bottom half of my outfit can visually make it look like I'm more grounded and sturdy--which translates to positive things in the work place (which is the only reason why I wear wide-leg pants=to look professional). Haha. Like the shoulder-pad/linebacker look for working women of the 1980s.Hmm, yeah, dunno...
Sorry if the above was rambling on a bit, this is the first time I thought about it outside of, "oh--these look cute!" I'm very curious what others have to say as well.
And, Crakk, you are right about skinny jeans getting even more skinny.

I'm pretty sure that that has to be closer to 50% elastane. Haha. I guess the question may become, how much cotton versus elastane is required to call anything skinny jeans. Haha. :]
