My recovery starts the night before. No matter how drunk I am, I load up on water. I come in the house and grab at least two bottles of water, which I chug hard before I sleep. Then when I wake up, I chug another with two tylenols if my head hurts. If I just generally feel like sh*t, and have upset tummy issues, I do a hair of the dog. Yes, I am a raging alcoholic. My other favorite is tomato juice. If it's real bad, you can combine the last two with lots of salt in the juice for a gooder.

And Taco Bell. Why Taco Bell? I've never questioned it.

Don't take Tylenol after boozing it up; it makes the alcohol even harder on your liver and kidneys.

If you must take an analgesic before going to bed, take aspirin or ibuprofin.

I've never had a hangover, but I'm really big on moderation. Also, much like Lolita, I have very low alcohol tolerance, and therefore I have to take any drinking I do very slowly and carefully, otherwise very bad things happen, usually in the barfing area. :yuk:

i agree with you with the water. that and if you drink better liquors you won't have hangovers. no matter how much grey goose i drink (although it's not my favorite) i don't get a hangover. also don't switch through the night. no clear liquors with dark liquors. eating certain things will coat the stomach. greasy chicken wings always work for me (although i must say taco bell @ three am has worked too  how? why? ). finally, nothing beats a hangover like the perfect bloody mary. :flower: and if you are really bad with hangovers in general, stay away from red wine....nothing is as bad as a red wine hangover in my opinion.

I agree with mikejames....it seems the better quality liquor I drink - I am not as hung over, especially when I drink grey goose/red-bull!

lots of water, I prefer Vitamin Water followed by the biggest bottle of Evian. V8 works like a champ, something about the acid in tomato juice that nuetralizes the remnants of alcohol in the stomach, somebody told me. A BC Powder washed down with a diet 7up, if I'm really hurting.

Funniest one I've ever heard: a stack of pancakes with cherry flavoured Robitussin as syrup. I don't know anybody who's actually tried this though.

    OK, here I go...

Before you go to bed, after a rough night :brows: have a lot of bread, and take two pain killers... you'll be perfect the morning after

Why bread? cause it sucks all the alcohol in you while you sleep, you might wake up in the middle of the night to "drop the kids at the pool", that's perfect, cause you will be feeling better then... drink lots of water the day after, esp. Pellegrino, or Perrier, you will need wah tah
