I will agree to disagree with Mink about Interview (IMO he made a joke out of Lestat ). But I agree about Magnolia .

Maybe the studios should do like in old times and guard their stars private lives from the public so nothing negative would be known. Of course that would be impossible now.

^Anne Rice, the writer of the books, LOVED him and said he was perfect. Lestat was supposed to be flamboyant and flashy, and Tom did him perfect.

Actually Anne said it took her about 8 years to write another book with Lestat as the narrator because it took her that long to get over the Lestat of the movie, then she complimented him, but said he was not her choice. But to be fair I don't really blame Tom, I just didn't like how they adapted the book and how much they took away from the Lestat of the Chronicles. But that is just my opinion, I just love Lestat from the Chronicles and all the Chronicles books and don't usually like so much when books I like are made into movies. So really, it was the script, not Tom.

And you are right Lestat was supposed to be flamboyant and flashy, but the one of book is much more so. Don't mind me, I just probably would never be OK with anyone playing him, I feel no one can do him justice.

This description of Suri from the Enquirer is a bit....interesting....

Although Vanity Fair will be the first publication to run the photos of Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes' daughter Suri, leave it to The National Enquirer to get the first sneak peak of the mystery photos before hand (if only they'd share them with us!). On their website, The Enquirer gives a detailed description of the baby and in my opinion, more or less says that the kid looks nothing like Tom Cruise. They say Suri has "Katie's nose and eyes but her most distinguishing feature is a head full of dark brown hair. The hair is straight with no curls and extremely thick. In fact, she has so much hair it is combed behind her ears and well down the back of her neck!" The Enquirer also describes the different shots of Tom, Kate and Suri appearing in Vanity Fair, "the baby is sleeping while nestled against Tom's neck and shoulder as he sleeps. Another photo shows her laying in bed with Tom and Katie, smiling as Tom plays with her and Katie has a wide grin. In yet another photo, the baby is being held up outdoors, wearing a white short-sleeved dress. Her skin tone strongly resembles Katie's."
