I thought this relationship was kind of cute at first.. and than this morning I was flipping through the channels and cought them on E! This has got to be a publicity stunt. It was a video of them on the red carpet together and the hokiest "pose for the cameras kiss" I have ever seen. Tom Cruise has always seemed like such a private guy, and they have only been dating for like two weeks. Somethings up on this one.

I was thinking though... you can't really compare how he's "coming out" with this relationship to how he's handled it previously. when he got together with Nicole he was married to Mimi Rogers to he had to be more subtle about it... and when he got together with Penelope he was coming off his marrage with nicole so again he had to be more descrete.

but here, they both went into it single and unattached so there's less to hide.

Sure it may be a publicity stunt but if it is genuine I can understand why he's more puiblic with this relationship's beginning than his past two (nic and Penelope)

don't like Katie, her acting is really annoying (the way she talks out of the side of her mouth..eek). Regardless, the way they are posing together just seems awkward. Like in those pictures of them kissing, they seem totally out of sync..

I agree with you. Tom is either going through a mid life crisis or, this is a publicity stunt.

I would be truly surprised if this isn't a publicity stunt, not only because they both have major movies coming up, but because of

a) The way it was handled so sloppily by Tom's publicist/sister.
b) The VERY public display of emotions in what's supposed to be a new relationship.
