Tracy Anderson Method

any advise for me? i can't buy dvd cos i am from poland and i love to work out this.

Since 2 days i am doing sitting arms and second arm workout posted on you tube. This is intresting and keep me going.
But - i have problem with webisode about butt/hips parts (those with a guy) it is either too easy or too hard. I don't know. Just not feeling it - after a while i must really focus coz i loosing intrest.
Are there any other butt/hips webisodes online for me to watch or download?

Look for the glutencentric series of metamorphosis:flower:

^ here, though there is only the Omnicentric-version available. The website is in Russian and you have to sign up to be able to download something. I could try to upload it, but I've no idea how to do it.

The Tracey Anderson Method is by far the most successful workout I've ever done. It works faster than anything else I've done AND it slims you in all of the right places (the tricky inner thighs and inner arms especially!). I've never even had to incorporate her diet plan.

The only drawback for me is it's very very easy to injure yourself. Part of this is learning to pace yourself, especially when you're first starting. You don't have to do ALL of her moves immediately. Also, you really need to pay attention to how you're moving because she isn't specific about the angles sometimes. If you're not using controlled movements and just flailing around, it could be very easy to injure yourself.

maybe try imageshock or other image hosting site? it would be great

I donwloaded the meta workout too, it said it was omnicentric and then it turned out to be hipcentric when I watched the videos. Now I want abcentric but I've been unable to find it.

I totally agree. She doesn't seem very concerned with form in her videos, and sometimes she flails all over the place (see: Tracy Anderson Cardio "dancing") and I can't help but think for those who aren't family with engaging a core, and keeping parts of the body in line, they are creating bad habits.

I did the mat workout today. The arm exercises are crazy. It felt like every muscle was burning. The leg part was hard too. Really liked the abs exercises.
My whole body will be so dead tomorrow.:D

I always feel the burn when I do the arm exercises from the mat workout but I never feel it the day after

I really hurt my shoulder doing the most idiotic movement with the half pound weight. I saw it on one of her videos on YOUTUBE, it was with arms stretched little circles....so idiotic, but here am I with shoulder cuff inflamation.
I didn´t overdo it, I didn´t do anything wrong....but it´s easy to hurt the shoulder cuff mechanism when you raise your arms above the shoulder. Swimers and surfers get shoulder cuff inflamations or tears also...
Be very careful guys...

me neither! i wonder why that is...
Yeah it's a bit weird but I'm not too worried about it since I can see a difference...my arms look so much better now than they did before I started doing the TA workout:lol:

So sorry to heart that, hope you get better soon:flower:

But the shoulder cuff is very vulnerable anyway, you really don't have to strain it a lot to get injured.

I have real problems with my inner thighs and arms in general. I really want to try her method but does she have seperate exercises for these areas? I have recently been really successful in finding something that works for toning my glutes and sliming the outer thighs but nothing seems to work in the inner...:innocent:

what are some good warm up videos/methods? I keep getting a stitch in the same place 5 mins into her meta cardio!

Hipcentric has done wonders for me on all hip-thigh area and my butt is definitely more toned.

Maybe you should slow down a bit or take a walk for 30 mins before the workout.
