lol. i'm from california and I ask the same question everytime time I see a girl wearing them. It could be a nice sunny day outside and you'll see a girl wearing her uggs. :yuk:

i personally hate Ugg boots myself - so ugly! :yuk:

i know it's strange seeing people wearing them even on a hot day like Los Angeles , California.
Ugg boots is quite unique because it won't sweat the feet. something about the fur - a kangaroo skin? i think an aussie might be a better person to explain it.
but yeah, it's the fur skin that has this unique insulation that's why you can wear it year round.
I think it's sheep skin, not kangaroo skin. I really understand UGGs being extremely comfortable and all that, but I still curse them to death whenever I see them being worn by girls as some sort of fashion statement: with miniskirt, over jogging pants, etc. Those UGGs boots always "collapse" around the back of the heel area & look even more ugly and scruffy. Yuk. I'd never pay that much money for UGGs, knowing they will all "collapse" that way soon or later.

I can see that I'm not the only one who hates UGG's. In addition I also hate Clocks/Crocs and similar plastic sandals - in general I hate clumsy footwear that makes the foot huge. And btw I hate socks on the outside of the trousers :)

CROCS
the worst thing i've ever seen... :ninja: how can someone wear them and think thats kinda stylish?!?!

Now they sell faux-Croc in dollars stores! LOL! I have seen them this last week-end. They even makes them for kids with the SpiderMan logo...Seen this at Zellers! 10 bucks a pair.

The inventor of the Croc in a french canadian from Québec. I am a bit ashamed here... What started as a shoe made for outdoors/hiking/country walk became a trend. It was not supposed to be worn outside the country hiking trails...initially...

I have a thing for blue and purple polished toenails is that wierd???
LOL! No weird here! I like it on girls who wears it really well.
Here is Courtney & daughter France in 2001. Beautifull pale blue nail polish. It looks good on them. PHOTO: Time Life Picture.

You are SO right! They are also quite popular in Denmark, although people say they only wear them because they are comfy. But why then wear something which is comfy AND practical? They aren't practical at all - they easily get wet, dirty and wry. I believe people wear them because they saw Kate Moss wearing them.

The antti aspuland cross necklaces. At least here in Finland it is. Almost every hipster/new rave kid is wearing it

right i guess we can all agree we're sick of UGGS and CROCS....anything else?

I'm sick of people who feel the need to put a belt over any shirt they are wearing...

^that's so ugly... I only like a belt over cardigans.
a girl I know puts a belt over almost everything, even hoodies :yuk:

belts can look great on women who know how to wear it and who are confident with their style...business women, id say...strong women..women in fashion...e.g. Anna Wintour

 A lot of my teachers wore belts over anything. It doesn't suit at all with the clothes, hence it looks ugly

crocs - although I don't think people wear these thinking they are fashionable just for comfort I guess, but they are still hideous!

leggings - I absolutely hate this trend! especially when people substitute them as pants! >.<

^I was just gonna say that..

LEGGINGS AS PANTS... no, just no. Unless you have the frame of a model, it is SO SO SO unflattering and painful to look at. :ninja: I saw SOOOOOOO many (mostly teenagers) tourists today wearing that... t-shirt and leggings. Ouch. It was a painful sight. Especially when it gives them camel toe :yuk:
