WAGS’n’WANNABEES IN LIVERPOOL ENGLAND

Wannabees - stop dying your hair blonde and making it straight in the manner of a wag. You're doing my head in.
I'm also sick of square wag French fake manicures.

So so so sick.

Everyone in Liverpool who takes a little care of their appearance is accused of either being a wag or a lap dancer.

Very annoying. Says it all about wags. Stop the wag look will you please?

Those actual WAGS who have the dash, good luck.

Thank you
XXXXXXXXXXXX

Futuristic looks on the runway...I'm sorry, but wearing metal boxes just isn't attractive! :yuk:

The whole Lady Gaga style. Fake super bleached blonde hair with edgy bangs and her super futo sun glasses and mini outfits without pants in neon colors. It's not wearable unless in a performance on stage but def. not out on the street.

I also hate celebs like Nicole and Christina copying her style. What's the point? Try to find a unique style of your own and don't imitate others.

I am so sick of those tacky ugly guess bags! And people have fake ones too - at least they didn't waste their money on the real thing

I'm afraid that look was always "try-hard"

i disagree, i think this pic from Woodstock '69 shows that the look can (well, COULD) be done in a cute, carefree and sexy way.

Now that it's the uniform of peaches geldof, mischa barton et al, however, the connotations are very different!

having said that (and already expressed my hatred of the trend, especially in and around london where every girl thinks she is a walking font of style) there is one celeb who i think (personally) makes it look cute, and that's nicole ritchie. I don't know why, something about her demeanor makes the trend less detestable to me!

I think that the hippie outfit looks hot on some girls. I just don't like their personality.

Denim dresses are totally a no-no. Same with denim shorts.

Meanwhile, I never liked Guess. Though I have a Guess bag which I received as a present.

in agreement with the denim dresses! and when people wear those rayban-esque glasses when they dont usually wear glasses at all.

Neon colors
Geek glasses

I can't stop myself from cringing at this point.

Layering.

People wear so much pieces - shirt, vest, necklace, sunglasses, leggings, shoes, bag, bracelets, earrings, rings, etc.

It looks like they're wearing an entire store.

What is this entire deal with Twitter? Is it like facebook status feed gone wild? Why do people assume others want to know what's going on with every minute of their lives?

I'd be questioning my management of time if I was logging into twitter and typing "cooking" "eating" "washing my hair" every 5 minutes.

^Whats with the whole Internet Social Networking thing in the first place? People are such attention wh*re these days.

AMEN to that! i just don't see the need of everybody seeing somebody's vacation/family/party pictures etc.
or pictures somebody took from him/herself "just for fun", posing extra try hard sexy and calling the album "just meee" or "me, myself and i" or some other uncreative bull****

^
Yeah to add to that, the "take-a-photo-of-yourself-in-front-of-mirror-a-la-myspace" is soooooo tacky. It's like don't you know how to use the self timer? There's actually directions on the internet somewhere on how to take a Myspace photo .
I also hate it when people post photos of themselves and caption "oh I'm so ugly!!". Newsflash: you wouldn't post photos of yourself if you're "ugly". Fishing for compliments much?

Now onto trends ...
People wearing ties with a basic t-shirt.
It looks like they couldn't afford a button-up or just trying hard to be edgy.
I think I've said this before but I'll say it again: guy's (with or w/o muscle) wearing wife beaters or tight tanks in a public, casual environment. This guy in one of my classes came to class like that, I was like "I didn't know we were at the gun show?!"
