UK Vogue November 2009 : Georgia May Jagger by Mario Testino

OK thanks McQueezy & honeycombchild... it must just be my crappy town that doesn't have it yet

Generally speaking, I read the rumour, but it didn't happen, and I'm not going to allow a phantom cover to overshadow my reaction to the real issue.

I look forward to Lara on a UK Vogue cover whenever such a thing may happen, but I'm just as pleased to see Georgia take her turn.

Its where the two front teeth are longer and pushed out.
Hence why I said it looks like two giant tables or even trident gum or did you not read that part? her two front teeth looks like it can open a beer bottle!

Her two front teeth are not in anyway longer than her other teeth, nor do they stick out, that is what 'buck teeth' is. Did you not read that part of my post? Guess not ...

Im not a fan of Georgia I just find it petty and extremely childish to dig and try to find something physically wrong with someone you dont like.

It usually takes at least a day or so for magazines to arrive in my region as well. If I sprinted to the store every time someone kindly gave the heads-up about what was now on sale, I'd be a broken woman, because the new issues are never there. Today, the Sienna issue was still on sale in shops all around me. So I suppose it's more accurate to say the magazines are "out in London" and after that, they roll out elsewhere.

They're not even out fully in London. No branches of WHSmith's had them today or anything, just some of the specialist magazine stores. So Thursday might be a more likely day for it to fully arrive in the UK.

You're getting pretty emotional over this. I don't even know her to dislike her especially over a bad magazine cover. I wasn't digging up anything that isn't the obvious and I said it 'looks' like they are buck teeth I never said they actually 'are' it's a big difference. The cover is bad and her teeth makes it look worst with the open mouth, that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. :flower:

It would look so much better if her mouth was closed. The background, dress and hairstyle are nice... It had everything to be a good cover, except the model.

Picked this up today, and it stands right out on the newstands - the bright red is an eyeful.

Alot of times bigger brand stores like WHSmiths and Borders aren't allowed to put magazines up in advance even if they've received them unlike smaller newsagents/specialists.

^How exactly did you imagine the 'G' to be a part of this particular cover. It makes perfect sense that the 'G' is not there.

But then someone would complain it's to much like Vogue Nippon. The G doesn't need to be there.
The Vogue masthead is perfectly noticeable, even without the V,O and the G.

True, and True...
I just don't care for it when they remove the letter completely.
I don't like it when they stamp the letter over the models face either.
I would rather see them crop the picture differently and wrap the text around the model instead of removing the letter completely.
Just a personal preference.. :innocent:

I dont fancy it, but I dont hate it either, It's okay I guess!

erk this cover sucks... this girl doesn't deliver anything imo

I have to agree with Luxx and vavavinny with the whole Georgia May-thing and don't want to repeat them.
I really like Georgia May, but the colours of the cover are not my cup of tea.

I like Georgia a lot, although I'm not too sure if I like the cover. I can't wait to see the rest of her ed.

i quite like it, even with the clown-like colours. did her sister elizabeth ever have a solo uk vogue cover?
