US Harper's Bazaar February 2009 : Scarlett Johansson by Alexi Lubomirski

the cover is great! and i like the contents too^_^ thanks for the scans

Freja looks amazing! I love RL and Dries shots.

I like the setting in the other ed, other than that, it's pretty boring.

If someone else has it and wants to take over with the scans, it'd be much appreciated. If not I'll try to do the Karl editorial later today.

Oh and here's the Freja picture that's not working

@ineedmagenta: If possible, I'd like to take the scanning duties for Scarlett's editorial. I need my Scarlett fix.

The more I look at this, the more I love it! Honestly I don't think it'd be out of place in Vogue Paris. Does anyone know if this is Amanda Laine's first time working with Karl? She really performs in this.

These editorials are incredibly boring though I do like Freja :D.

I like Karl's ed. Nice styling and setting.
Could Baptiste look any better?! ^_^

I can't believe I got this in the mail today because I am always the last person to get it!
I think it's a good enough mix of young-edgy and vogue us-country club conservatism style and edit-wise that HB seems to aspire for and it works. Also, nice mix of familiar and unfamiliar faces, enough to please those who are out of touch (like me!) and those who know every new model. Now, if they just realize that diversity means more than blonde and brunette, it would be perfect (I'll give them a break, they get Chanel, Jourdan, Hye every now and then).

I'm so SICK of seeing Coco in these kinds of editorials. Its boring - her 'dancing' or 'jumping' or generally just doing movement.

Freja doesn't even have to MOVE and she looks 10 times more fashionable and expensive than Coco.
totally agree. freja's poses and facial expressions are MUCH more striking than coco's... her nina ricci and jil sander shots look amazing. i also love the styling in what's next and i'm pleasantly surprised with that black balmain dress... i never thought it could be so photogenic.

I'm not usually a fan of hers but she looks great on that cover. :flower:

I like all three eds,and thank god Aniston or Hudson isn't on another cover

Yeah for something that Karl shot, this is actually nice. I'm not sure if it's clean enough to end up in VP, but it is definitely one of the best editorials I've seen in Harpers in some time. And yes, this is Amanda's first time shooting with Karl and it definitely turned out great.

Wow, this is my first scan here and I realized that I have some great respect for all hardworking TFS scanners out there including Ineedmagenta (ok, I got your hint ha!). If I knew it would be this hard, I would have saved my efforts for something awesome ha ha.

Back to Basics by Peter Lindbergh scanned by me
