i dont get this whole animal friendly thing. they wont wear leather but they will wear silk and wool

i have no idea how silk is made but wool doesnt kill the sheep when it's sheared, so thats probably why they have no problems wearing wool

im pretty sure boiling is involved. or it was at least in the old days. im in a class on the history and culture of the silk road in china and we had a reading that breifly mentioned chinese silk killed the larvae but indian silk didnt. but this was a llooooooooooong time ago, so i dont know.

im not judging, ive always just wondered about vegan stances on it. i dont know anytihng about veganism really, and ive seen vegans wear silk, so i wanted to know

It's actually not that bad and I like the colour combinations. The pose could have been different given her hair.... maybe a little more modern or edgy.

I'm not sure... Althugh I love that dress (Prada?) I agree they could have gone more edgy. That's what pisses me off about Vogue US. They never take chances.
