Why didn’t they go all out and actually feature all Late Night hosts from him to Trevor Noah to Samantha Bee to John Oliver to Fallon to Kimmel to Seth Meyers? Colbert’s show is hardly the most influential one out of all of them. Would be most interesting to see Seth though, I have a feeling he’s going to be photogenic.

Annie trying to be edgy and 'in with the kidz'. Too late, they don't care and the traditional VF reader (that's if they're still reading this magazine) won't care for this type of photography.
I mean I suppose the guy is funny, but neither the subject nor photography would make me pick this up. Surprised it's not Anna's man-crush, Seth Myers.

VF really should consider doing UK-only covers. We actually have talents other than the Royals and Hollywood Brits who deserve this sort of platform.

Just this morning I was thinking about how oddly popular Keilar is - she consistently gets the most views. And it perplexes me because everything about her is so understated - openings, looks, tone, demeanour etc. And that in itself if not very American, lol.

Me too! And Colbert is the best interviewer (and the most charming) out of all late night hosts in my opinion. Glad they gave him the cover.
