My favorite classic Angels: Stephanie,Daniela,Karen. Helena is one of my all time favorite models but as an angel I didn't like the hair she had, the short reddish cropped hair. meh. I wish she were an angel when she had her long black hair. 
My favorite classic angel is Tyra. I remember actively disliking Frederique and Adriana in print for looking so vapid but I gotta say that their visages have stuck with me, kinda like the visual version of a song that you cannot get out of your head. In commercials I liked Heidi. Looking at the videos that michelabella posted, I am loving Eva Herzigova's curly bob and in other videos I like Karen's cheekiness. At the VSFS I like Karolina and Gisele, although strangely perhaps, I like Gisele better backstage than on the runway.
I don't know if Alessandra is considered classic, but 2005 or thereabouts, she came into her own and became "wow" in print and at the VSFS.

wow! all those older videos that Michela posted! it's crazy how sophisticated and mature and genuinely sensual VS used to be. they've sacrificed their brand's womanliness by pushing this whole teenage PINK! thing.
Eva, Karen, Tyra, Heidi, Stephanie, Helena, Daniela, Laetitia ... i mean, come on. these women were goddesses. sensual, strong, adults. not girly teenagers. even Gisele and KK -- though both of them much more cheerful and playful personalities -- were decidedly adult-like when they were the Angels and sensual, which is an entirely different thing than "sexy".
i'm hoping that the inclusion of Toni Garrn seems a step in the right direction. she's got a classic face like Karen or Daniela. and, though she's still very young - she seems older - perhaps due to her classic beauty.

couldn't agree more ^. I see many emphasize a change in body type of past versus. current angels but the biggest problem for me now days, is how young VS models look compared to the past...Which I will never understand considering no teenager looking girl can sell me lingerie like a sexy woman oozing with sex appeal can. (their target audience definitely changed I suppose) with the inclusion of PINK.
The past angels looked like grown,sexy,seductive,sophisticated WOMEN. Not young smiling college girls. (even the lingerie was sexier; colors,prints,materials etc) I don't recall seeing little pink puppies on the panties in the 90s...It was all about sex appeal. Lots of black, lots of Garters. You almost felt like you were looking at an adult mag when you were little in the 90s. I doubt the youth of today feels that way with smiling little blondes with cupcakes on the panties staring back at them. I do blame PINK and also the babydoll/alien trend in modeling. During the 90s glory days that look was unheard of. If I can recall even the younger models were always made to look older (Niki Taylor is a prime example) now its the opposite...everyone wants to look/be younger.
I know times have changed but I get nostalgic, can't help it.
I think Toni is very pretty and actually a nice choice, but I think there are beyond enough "angelic/innocent" looking blondes for now! Doutzen was good enough to fill that role.

Well said Michelabella on Helena I always liked her. When Helena had longer Hair I always like Women with Longer Hair
