is it just me or does the opening segment remind you of 2005 sexy russian babes segment...but in a cheap, primary color, acid trip kind of way? Like I appreciate some of the details but jeez!

The first two sections are beyond awful. They full covered Maria's stunning body, and wtf Cindy's look. Tragic.
Pink was awful as always, I was expecting something better.
I really feel in love with Ming this time, she looked absolutely gorgeous.

These outfits are either beyond hideous or beyond unoriginal. Alessandra's second look is such a blatant rip off of her outfit two years ago.

And lmao @ the Chinese segment epic fail. That dragon dance opening look.

I actually really like "The Road Ahead". The rest of the segments, not so much - though there are some strong points here and there.

I also have a feeling that this is going to look much better on television than it is coming through in these pics. Particularly "Bright Night Angels". I can see those sparkly outfits being quite spectacular in motion and with good editing.

A couple of comments:

- Irina is, to me, the star of the show. She looks incredibly gorgeous.

- Valery Kaufman. What a beautiful model! Who is she?? (*runs to her thread*)

- Cindy Bruna's legs.

- I think VS's obsession with fitness is doing a disservice to these models. Most of them look exhausted. And quite a few look very very much more lean than they are any other time of the year and it's not a good look. People like #BodyByIza are obviously exceptions - as she's a Queen and could put most Olympians to shame with her fitness.

Speaking of #BodyByIza, I have no idea what is happening in this pic, but I CANNOT wait to watch it on television. lol.

Lol @ Gaga stealing the spotlight to some girls . She looked amazing by the way.

OK - so the outfits definitely translate WAY better on video than in pics. All the girls look stunning. Jojo's body is completely absurd.

I also thought it was an incredibly beautiful performance by Gaga.

But definitely not suited to the runway. It made for some awkward moments. The only time VS has done the super slow ballad + runway segment correct was with "Say Something" during Shipwrecked a few years ago. But that was because he was just stuck behind his piano and the girls didn't have to share the stage.

I AM thankful for the #BodyByIza hairflip. And I love her commitment to delivering that LEGENDARY move even when there is nothing about the segment or music that would make it an obvious choice. hahaha.
