I don't like her but can't deny she did a good work here, along with her I-D editorial form this year, are the best she had done in years...i mean in all her career....

Well…it’s about time she’s finally improving after all these years.

I really like the direction and styling. But someone earlier mentioned about that “Stop” sign and it’s the most accidentally ironic thing to happen to this cover and her career. LOL

The mannequin on Helmut Newton photos had more energy.

The cover is great but the editorial is mostly filler, so I can see why that shot was chosen for the front.

The Kardashians would have been mad keen to work with Helmut Newton, but I don't know whether the desire would have been mutual. I can just imagine the outcome - headlines about how 'Helmut Newton made Kim cry' because he asked her to do something 'degrading' for a shoot, when it was just business as usual on his set.

He wasn't too restrictive about celebrity photography. He only treated it as easy money, but it was usually just plain portraits for VF. He was most keen on photographing Margaret Thatcher, but didn't really like the picture he took.

Truly gorgeous! And quite a breath of fresh air for Vogue China since they usually seem to go in a different direction than this. Kendall is channeling a special kind of old glamour here and I'm very excited to see it! It looks great on her.

Jewelry and belt definitely vintage Chanel and the bodysuit is likely Balenciaga.

If I’m being optimistic, it’s very standard Anna Dello Russo’s Vogue Japan. It’s competently executed, and Kendall is rendered unrecognizable-- thus likely the appeal, and that’s about it.

Had this brand of story been produced 10 years ago, it would have simply been standard fare. But in 2022— where simple competency in execution, production and modelling is such an exception rather than the norm, of course this would stand out LOL …weeps...
