Vogue Italia June 2014 : Adriana Lima by Steven Meisel

Adriana's edit is doing everything for me, I'm completely head over heels for the entire story. Yeah, this isn't exactly Meisel's most creative of stories but I'm all for these simple studio shoots he does. I should also mention I'm bias towards anything Carlyne styles too.

Bigger, HQ's, whatever you want to call them:

loving that beauty cover!
about Adriana.. not really impressive not even the video nor the ed, it just feels forced and lackluster tbh

I just don´t get that weird expression on the red jumper pic, what is that?!

I like to call it happily unsure, or, in smiley form, :D.

Any idea who are the models in the Richard beauty ed and Michel's two? Aside from Erika Linder (I always try to keep writing Casey Legler... it's another Fran Lebowitz/Susan Sontag-because-they-were-both-on-the-Vanity-Fair-cover-in-1983 situation here)

What a beautiful edit Burbridge, Spencer and team have put together. The best in this issue by far! Thanks for sharing, LylaScans!

Somehow, I've warmed up towards the cover pic, maybe seeing it several times already made me like it, or I got used to it.

Was it necessary to cover Adriana's beautiful hair on the cover with that hideous headpiece? I get it, I don't need to be told it's Vogue twice. That issue aside I can't help but like the cover, Meisel really knows how to capture her best and her recent work for the likes of Vogue Spain, Turkey looks cheap in comparison. No one quite does studio editorials like Meisel and I even like the over the top styling. The Vogue beauty editorial is another plus too, it's gorgeous, I'm set on getting this issue even if the rest is tame.

the styling in the main editorial is TRAGIC, it ruins the whole thing

If they sell this issue at some WH Smith in the Victoria Coach Station or something then I'm buying because I think this issue has a bit of a spot in my heart as I uploaded most of the images from glossynewsstand. Which is kinda egotistical.

they definitely sell it there though it isn't out yet i don't think :)

I really like the beauty ed, it's lovely. I don't hate the main editorial either to be fair.

of course i do know. i bought the january and march 2013 issues from two different whs. january in waterloo train station (i think - it was definitely in waterloo as i ended up eating at byron burger that day) and march in heathrow going to ireland.

but on the other hand i'll be there at five thirty in the morning so i don't think it'll be open yet!
