Thanks for the scans!

Blah, none of this jumps out at me....looks like the cover and main editorial are the only selling points for this issue

^agreed, i think i'll not buy this issue, so big thanks to tarsha for the previews :flower:

the cover and editorial are rubbish

everything else is amazing! i love kinga :D and everything miles aldridge does for VI is great

^'Rubbish' is a little harsh, don't you think?

I think both the cover and the editorial are amazing.

While I thought the cover was brilliant, the accompanying editorial is not nearly as well done, the setup feels quite lazy and lacks any charm.

The rest of the issue is incredibly weak. What a letdown.

Is that, Sophie Sumner on the cover of Beauty In Vogue? Because, I mean, her cycle of ANTM ended like a year ago. But it's actually a nice cover.

And the Melissa Tammerjin's editorial looks like something out of Elle.

Vogue Italia is basically living from Meisel's cover story these days, the content is so freaking boring. Where are Steven Klein, Tim Walker, Paolo Roversi and Craig McDean?

Issue fizzles out in discord. :( Real pity for that great cover (ed)...

Completely agree with you. The main ed feels rather discordant and lacking in any powerful element that would render it truly memorable.

This entire issue is really a shamble. It's bad, but not in a funny or vulgar way. It's just boring and disappointing.

VI needs to bring back Glen Luchford, Michael Thompson, Patrick Demarchelier, Inez and Vinoodh, Satoshi Saikusa, Steven Klein...you name it. Or at least bring in some new blood with a distinct point of view (Julia Hetta, Karim Sadli, Chad Pitman all come to mind), instead of constantly bombarding us with Summerton and KT Autela. I actually used to like Emma's work, but I feel like she's so overworked at this point and consequently produces such wishy-washy imagery nowadays. There's no excitement to seeing one of her passable editorials in every issue .

Anyway just my two cents. VI really needs some kind of haul over, even if only minor. Franca really needs to stop relying on Meisel's editorial being the 'all or nothing' of each issue. Any photographer with that kind of pressure put on them is bound to suffer and produce mediocre work in the process ( more often than not if we look at Steven's recent work).
