It is not a reprint at all. I think it's the same creative team doing this ed while they were shooting other eds for Vogue Brazil.

Another set of mundane stories. I'm thrilled I asked the store not to order future issues of Vogue Japan for me, after the August 2012 issue with Anja Rubik. They've went downhill within a short amount of time. It was priced at almost £17 here which is extortionate, considering Vogue Paris is not even £5. That's a heck of a saving each month, considering the garbage that's inside the magazine now.

The cover is really good remind me of the early vogue nippon covers, but all the editorials are really hideous especially the one with nadja and Maud:sick:

Well, I'd like to say something about the contents of Vogue Japan.

Editorial-wise I agree with you that they haven't come up with good stories. They have been giving mediocre editorials for quite a time (Jan. & Feb. issue of this year come to my mind first). Still I buy every issue because they always offer something interesting to read. Maybe that's because I read some Japanese then I can appreciate contents other than the editorial parts more. For example, this single issue they run a very interesting feature on New Japanese culture and it really amazes me.

I understand that it's disappoiting if the editorial part in a fashion magazine is rather weak especially when you are collecting foreign editions and the price is very high. I have the same feeling sometimes when magazines like Vogue Paris produces dull issues and I even don't bother buying it.
