Vogue Paris April 2016 : Cindy Crawford & Kaia Gerber by Mario Testino

^
Melancholia is only B&W outdoor shots.
Expression Forte is a 80s inspired story, lots of makeup and crazy hair.
Malgosia has two nice shots in the story.
Bell à tomber is in my opinion pretty boring, it's just like the preview, nothing more.

^^ Thanks again for the detailed info!

Seems like Melancholia could be nice, then. I always like a little bit of outdoor stuff in Vogue Paris. And eighties inspiration is something I often like as well. As for Weir's story, I was a bit afraid of what you just confirmed but I do like her style so I wasn't completely hopeless!

Overall, how did you like the issue?

Presley seems to be a better model at the moment... Kaia is a bit too young as far as I am concerned... she still looks like a baby and it is hard to take her seriously... but she is a total beauty...

Testino's edit with the Crawfords is much, much better than I expected it would be. I actually really like it. Sure, it's nothing we haven't seen before and the photos feel very cut-and-paste Bruce Weber, but Cindy and her kids look fantastic. Especially Kaia. She steals the show. The girl photographs like a dream. And I love that Emmanuelle styled her like a Seventies California jailbait Rollergirl. Perfection.

Since a few issues, I'm kind of disappointed by VP. I totally lost the vibe that I loved about this magazine, the great old M&M eds, Mario Sorrenti ect... I really miss this. I find the new eds boring, the models always look sad and bored.
