for me it kind of looks like they have reproduced a brunette version of their april 2002 cover with claudia (which i personally find more interesting, although bruni is a very beautiful woman herself!)

The HQ version with the richer and more vibrant gold makes it even look more beautiful! It looks so simple but somehow manages to be festive and appropriate for December. It may not be as striking as those of Carine`s December Guest Edited issues but this is perfection as it is. Can`t wait for the editorials

The retouching on this cover is awful. Those eyes and skin looks so ridiculously false. SHe is a naturally beautiful women and doesn't need it. That kind of retouching is too imposing and completely detracts from the image. It's is like a mouth full of marzipan. Sickening. What does it say about Vogue Paris? and the Vogue Paris women? that she doesn't see this kind of thing? She wants to be false? I beg to differ.

The 2002 cover of Claudia is infinitely more beautiful and relevant for Vogue Paris.
