I receieved my copy in the mail yesterday. Guinevere's edit is STUNNNNNNNNNING! Sorrenti at his best. Definitely the best photography in the whole issue. And Camilla's styling is flawless. Raquel's edit isn't bad, but it is very repetitive and kind of dated. Like something one would see in 2001 or 2002. And she doesn't look like herself in most of the shots. Plus, all black clothing is not that ground-breaking of a concept...
^Magdalena Frackowiak I think. Why didn't raquel get that cover she deserves such prestige covers so much more she looks amazing in every editorial she does, she's a true model while I still get another vibe from Lara.
I'm going to take on scanning the Guinevere editorial right now - meant to do it when I received the magazine last week but totally forgot. Hopefully HQs will still be desired even though the site now has the entire set
it was so well done, from camilla nickerson's styling and sorrenti's photography to guinevere's poses. each of them succeeded in giving the ed a certain mood, and it probably wouldn't be that good with a different styling, or if the photographer wasn't sorrenti and if the model wasn't as good as guinevere. i love it when this happens, when everyone involved is relevant.
thank you for the scans Faith
I'm a bit disappointed with Lara's editorial. It's good (thank God Klein's not using the usual cold hues), it's just they could've done more. Raquel and Guinevere's spreads are amazing to look at and Sorrenti always delivers in my book!
