just got my copy in the mail. here's a snapshot of the cover:

cate blanchett's story is photographed by mikael jansson and styled by jane how. the cover was also shot by jansson and styled by karl templer. natasa v's ed is photographed by anthony maule and styled by karl templer. there's also a comme des garcons edit with raquel shot by craig mcdean, and styled by karl templer.

that cover is not at all what i was expecting. it's not stunning. it's so empty. and blank.

i am so disappointed

The cover is hugely disappointing.

I've never seen Cate look less than stunning in photos...until now.

Her editorial looks marginally better, but it's still not up to par.

Thanks Maffam for scans,this magazine not sell in Bangkok anymore may be some agant bring it to the newsstand but it's late 2-3 months, no one care the September issue Interview magazine while all or the rest are December issue. and this issue the cover disappointing, Cate look so tired or sick not attractive.

i don't like the cover or the eds so far, which is disappointing because i've really been getting into interview recently.

If the expression on Cate's face was different it would of been a much decent cover.

But her editorial isn't any better which does make her look unattractive besides the last picture which I do like.

I love the cover... it shows Cate as a blank canvas & then she takes on the different looks/personalities in the photo shoot. I'm looking forward to everything in this issue.

yes it is. clothes are all spring 2009 comme des garcons.

I don't like her on the cover, she looks washed out. She is such a beauty- why make her look sickly.
