Interview December/January 08.09 : Cate Blanchett by Mikael Jansson

Cate looks blank on the cover though I love the pictorial effect. In the ed, however, she looks awesome as always!
Thanks maffam

I have my doubts about the cover shot, but I think that the cover is a little folded in the shot, and that her expression comes out a bit distorted. I do love the ed though, especially the last photo, amazing. Thanks maffam!

Very disappointed with the cover, its a definition of bland, its just bad and has no emotion whatsoever, was very excited to see Blanchett but this dosent move me, her spread is a tad better though.

Love the cover. I think the Man Ray influence is great and Cate's ed looks good as well. The rest of the eds also look good.

I'm really disappointed with this cover. The content doesn't looks that great either. Well a few good shots of Cate, but nothing special.

The cover is hugely disappointing.

I've never seen Cate look less than stunning in photos...until now.

Her editorial looks marginally better, but it's still not up to par.

ita...
she almost looks like carla bruni in the shot with the trenchcoat...
the ed looks almost pedestrian...

natasa v, however, looks stunning! :woot:
thanks for the snaps maffam...:flower:

Don't like the cover, don't like the contents :ninja:

the christina kruse edit is actually photographed and styled by herself.

Interview is one of my top magazines these days.. Thanks for the pics, Marcel!

not liking the cover, i guess... why do they overdo them everytime?

not liking the cover, i guess... why do they overdo them everytime?

I thought just the opposite....I think the covers have been understated, they don't look like typical fashion magazines, rather coffee table books. I think the cover is stunning in person, maybe because there isn't a proper scan it doesn't look as great.

christina kruse's editorial is such a spice. i just loved the Bottega Veneta look. not sure this is what Tomas Meier is about though:ninja:

Christina!:D:wub:Thanks for posting.
