W October 2012 : Jennifer Lawrence by Tim Walker

This is awful, she does not pull off that styling, i never consider her as someone who can do High Fashion, but she can certainly photograph in a beautiful way, so there is room to do something nice with her, not to push her to do edgy!

^^That was my first thought as well. I don't hate it but I'm not blown away by it either. The feather headpiece irks me to no end though.

Yeah, that's just awkward. She looks so bland and that styling is too overwhelming on her. I don't even know what they were trying to achieve with this, it's neither eye-catching nor pretty or interesting.

Great to see a W cover by Tim Walker. But it's not a good image for the cover. Too much feathers.

I agree, she can't pull this off. She's such a pretty girl, what a shame this is what then came up with.

Ahahaha, it's funny in a bad way.

What on earth is this? It`s like they applied glue all over her and dropped tons of feathers on her hair! This is just so bad!

I really want to like this because I'm a big fan of Jennifer Lawrence but I don't know if I can. I wouldn't mind the cover so much if she didn't have feathers in her hair because then it would be an overall better image. Although I appreciate W's attempt at presenting Jennifer in a more high fashion way, usually for magazine cover's she's just made up to look like the "girl next door."

She just can't manage this dark and grave style, I guess. Quite underwheming.

I love this!! Its great when you take risks in a celebrity cover and who´s better than Tim Walker to do that? I love the dark vibe in this...perfect!

I actually don't hate this. I always enjoy seeing actresses playing against type/doing something unexpected in editorials.

I might like this if it looked anything like her, but it doesn't. She's unrecognizable and the styling doesn't make this look a bit interesting. How flat and disappointing :/ I didn't think Tim Walker could look dull, but I have been proven wrong.
