W October 2012 : Jennifer Lawrence by Tim Walker

As a general rule I agree with the previous poster who stated that Jennifer Lawrence is a better actress than model and when she does pull off modeling it is usually simple, girl next door type of modeling, however I actually think that she pulled this off - although I am not crazy about the headpiece. I think that she was captured with contours and angles and edge that she does not normally have. If I had to express a concern I wonder if she was transformed too much to the point that she is not recognizable to someone browsing covers at a newsstand.

I agree the styling would have suited Rooney Mara much better, but if it had been Rooney on the cover I would've slammed it as "Predictable" and "Boring". But this is Gorgeous, for me it's unexpected and I think in a way- she pulls it off.

I don't even think Rooney can pull that off. This girl looks like she was attacked by black swans and their feather got stuck to the bird poo on her hair & clothes.

Karlie Kloss has an editorial in W October, she just tweeted this

“@EdwardEnninful: October @wmag by Nick Knight @SHOWstudio xoxo http://t.co/CPgB6VpW” looks AMAZING! I cannot wait to buy my oct issue! Xoxo

I simply dislike it. The styling is all over the place, the white background is boring, and the texts don't help either.

...Karlie's editorial? Seriously? Wow, this is SO bad all around so far. What a shame

I remember I loved backstage shots of that shoot with Karlie and Nick Knight.. It is suppposed to be a couture editorial, she had various wigs on, Nick posted a few pictures on his instagram and they looked incredible.. I am not that sure that the ed is going to be as amazing in print :-/

I love Jennifer but the styling doesnt suit her, hopefully they do her more justice in her edit. Excited for Karlies edit though, looks like its Knight is working his awesome magic:D

I've seen the preview shots on ET episode tonight. Some of the shots look pretty nice but overall still horrible.

The main story is really good, actually. I love the mood. And is it my impression or the masterhead has got bigger since a few issues ago?

The Black and White Image would have made the PERFECT Cover. She looks beautiful.

Yes, I've noticed that as well, they have increased the size of the logo in the past few months which I find a little bit annoying. Anyway, at least Jennifer's pictures are lovely and do her beauty and Tim's photography justice.

WOW the editorial reminds me a lot Steven Meisel work for Vogue US on early 00´s.
