Oh dear, a topic to mourn all those "why-didn´t-I-buy-it"s
here I go:
1. Dior Homme S/S 2003 shawl-collared cutaway jacket
Yes, money was an issue, it looked awesome on me and I´d totally pull it off... so sad there´s never been a jacket like this ever since
...
2. Yohji Yamamoto F/W 2002 skarf/sleeve hybrid
The most comfortable and beautiful knit I ever wore, plus one of the few designers that is actually cheaper in Japan compared to Europe. I always told myself "I´m gonna knit it by myself", but ended up being unsatisfied with every yarn I found... I should have known that Yohji´s knit is unparalleled...!
3. Dior Homme F/W 2001 black leather mao-collar shirt
I should have taken the chance when I saw it on ebay in my size... a once-in-a-lifetime-buy ... basta (without doubt one of the most amazing shirts ever designed by Hedi, though
)!
4. Yohji Yamamoto F/W 2003 houndstooth blanket/skarf
...Because I always wear skarves and this one has a beautiful pattern AND is very versatile to use... I love Yohji´s skarves best
.
5. Dior Homme F/W 2003 officer´s coat
money issue... more explenations?!
5. Helmut Lang F/W 2004 anthrracite metallic lace ups
I tried the bronze ones and thought they are very diffult to pull off but never considered the other options... both grey and blue are great but I´d go for the grey since most of my wardrobe is black... see helmutlang.com for pictures.
6. Helmut Lang F/W 2003 patent leather aviator boots
Nobody had them but those were so ME, I wonder if I could have afforded them?!
