eds:
"Beauty and the Beast" by Annie Leibovitz. Drew Barrymore in all couture. Very reminiscent of the Alice in Wonderland ed with Natalia a few issues back. Drew seems to be big into fairy tales, so this ed suits her.
"Body Language" by Steven Meisel. The best looks for any shape:
Januel, Tiiu: tall
Lydia Hearst-Shaw: short
Lily Donaldson, Lisa Cant: thin
Danielle Zinach (sp?

pregnant
Jeanne (?

curvy
Then they do the celebrities/socialites for each shape (all shot by Leibovitz

Bungalow 8/Lot 61 owner Amy Sacco: tall
Queen Latifah: curvy
ballerina Irina Dvorovenko: pregnant
museum curator Thelma Golden: short
Daphne Guiness: thin
"Gypsy Queens" by Steven Klein. Liya in the best of bohemia. I actually like this ed very much...the styling is great, as are the hair/makeup.
"Short Change" by Craig McDean. Natasha Poly in shorts. She looks very "kate moss" in this ed.
also:
"Getting Physical" Cameron Diaz writes about her workout routine
"Life with Andre" is about his recent decision to lose 75 pounds
"Closet Cases" shops with women of different shapes, incl. Erin Daniels (of The L Word)
"Come Together" piece on a collaboration between As Four and Kate Spade.
5 pages on the spring couture shows
1 page on Prince Charles & Camilla's upcoming wedding
The Index features 53 of the best swimsuits (pic is of Gisele & Vida in Miami)
verdict: B-/C+
The Liya and Natasha eds are above average, as is the piece on Drew. I was disappoint they didn't quote any of the models in the main shape ed (as they've done in years past). The couture report is also very good. But overall, something is missing from an issue that's 402 pages. It just seems very "thin."
