Really? I mean, I suppose they are cute, but I always find them to be really weird. "Marry Me Now" isn't exactly a positive message to be sending out there. Also, I seem to remember an issue from 2001 with Stella Tennant on the cover with the words "BUY OR DIE" .

Most of Japanese are really conservative, ao many foreign magazines failed to launch in Japan. Among these ones, I think Vogue Nippon looks make effort much than others.
If you have a chance to see Grazia Japan or that of Cosmopolitan, I assume you may easily throw them off as inside is too cheap,

verdict: B-/C+

The Liya and Natasha eds are above average, as is the piece on Drew. I was disappoint they didn't quote any of the models in the main shape ed (as they've done in years past). The couture report is also very good. But overall, something is missing from an issue that's 402 pages. It just seems very "thin."
