(don't hold me to this--i'm by no means a doctor) but i think i read once that anything over 100mg of zinc could be too much.. so 50mg SHOULD be fine.. just ask your doctor, becuase it could be different for you depending on your weight/age, you never know! (also, if you have been taking 50mg for a while and havent had problems, then my guess is that 50mg is fine for you.)
