I disagree, I think every little bit that you can do helps. I dont eat meat but others who do can sacrafice fur and still save some animals. And also a lot of leather is a by product of the meat industry.
i personally think that wearing fake fur and being strongly against -real- fur is a bit stupid too, as you're promoting the industry in a way.
it's very arguable that meat is a needless luxury (i am NOT here to try to make everyone vegetarian, i'm only doing this for the sake of argument). i don't eat meat, i'm still alive. fur is warm but there are other things... meat is yummy but there are other things as well.
of course, there are more meat-lovers out there than fur-wearers, so i'm expecting a lot of angst...
I'm telling you if fur becomes less popular, next it will be leather, then wool, then some other nonsense they dream up!
^No. It is not ridiculous. Is it not better to make SOME attempt at doing the right thing than to be completely reckless and immoral? Thats like saying that if you are going to shoplift you might as well murder. Both are wrong, but that does not mean they are equally wrong.
