Alexander Wang for H&M

Marant wasn't reduced, what was left was taken from the shop floors and online. It was worked into the contract that it couldn't be reduced. Marant had one of the highest total sell throughs of any of the collections.

Saving from this day on till I can afford the whole collection because I know Im going to want to.

Thank God people here don't care about these designer collaborations at all, so I'll be able to take a good look at the clothes.

Isn't he spreading himself a little thin?! He should be pouring all his energy into Balenciaga.

i'm not terribly interested in this. i don't see how this is going to be different than his T line (which also comprises leather, knit and wool items as well as jersey)

i'm guessing the lifestyle items are going to be cosmetics. he already has home items in his main line.

Wow he's one of the last people I expected to collaborate with H&M, I'm surprised Balenciaga are allowed it. Every item I've bought from T By Alexander Wang has been of great quality so it will be interesting to see what H&M budget Alexander Wang will look and feel like.

but T by Wang isn't JUST a lower-priced line compared to the main one. It's basically comprised of basics, which I doubt will be what the collaboration mostly consists of. Plus, if you're shopping for T by AW, you're looking for simple, easy basic pieces while the mainline is where the creativity is at, lbr.
Alexander Wang for H&M, I'm assuming, will consist of pieces closer to that of the main line than the division line. Not exactly the same thing.

i think it's lame to hype up a collaboration more than 6 months before the release date.

it just goes to show that the wares at H&M are so weak that they have to resort to publicity this early.

prices for T by Alexander wang stretch up to nearly $1,000 in the US so it's not just basics.

i concur wholeheartedly. to me it seems a bit desperate and contrived to create such a press frenzy so soon. even those collabs from more well established and well respected designers, like lagerfeld and kawakubo didn't get that. of course this is the story with wang's career so far...this guy's fame has thrived mostly on his hype. personally,i still have yet to see what this guy has done to make him so fawn-worthy beyond his mere celebrity...most of what he does i've already seen and lived through over 2 decades.

^certainly nothing on this level and this soon in advance.
