Well, apparently, many people think he's the IT thing as there is already a lineup down the blk to get into his afterparty.

Apparently many people are so starved for genius they are desperately trying to find one in their lifetime and rush things which is inexcusable.

Looks average to me. There are some pieces I like, but nothing amazing, and the styling really is pretty terrible.
I do like some of the dresses, but the whole american football/shoulder thing is just not working, the fit is SO bad!

This is the only NY show that I was most curious to see. I really like what I am seeing here!
I love the neutral colours of most pieces and the styling of the show looks great.

Hmm...I expect with Alexander Wang that there will be a lot I don't like, and some pieces I absolutely love.

I don't think this collection is unexpected for him. There are some bits I do like but a lot of it I think is unflattering and hideous. Usually he has a few amazing dresses but there's not much that's blowing me away here.

Still the most exciting NY show I've seen so far though. I appreciate that I'm not bored by it.

Guess the afterparty at Gas Station was a lot of models and actors, a lot of cigarette smoke, and Courtney Love on stage.

There's a couple of outfits I like, but I would have them altered big time. The theme of the collection seems messy and all over the place.

well, there is slightly more put in than his previous collections...though i really dont like it. maybe less than a handful of interesting pieces.
new york needs to produce more "next big things" because i dont know, this one is terrible

hahaha good one:flower:

Oh, thanks a lot Mr Wang, you've officially sealed the nineties as a trend (In New York, at least) via crop tops, grey sweater dresses () and side plaits.

Side plaits fgs!!

I hope to god the season doesn't continue in such a manner. The eighties was okay because I was born at the end of them, but the nineties is in living memory. You can't do this!

I see a few individual pieces that I quite like, but apart from that, a huge disappointment for me --

What a crappy mess!
I think this is one of the worst shows I've ever seen...it's just bad!
And then we wonder why NY fashion week is so important

Nice to see him attempt something different...
There are a few pieces that are really adorable but the styling is so contrived
and heavy-handed, that it detracts from the collection overall...
The inspiration is also quite literal... there is nothing clever about it at all...
The abnormally large shoulders are just overkill @ this pt..

I hate the grey socks everywhere, don't like the suglasses at all, but I must say the whole collection is quite good, especially the leather shorts.
