Anti Wrinkle / Aging Creams

i want to know too, but more importantly when
of all the people i have asked about this (including my chanel SA, my shiseido SA, even beauty+health editor at Vogue), they've all given me the same response.
'you're 19, as long as you take good care of your skin now (including SPF, etc), you'll be fine. no need to worry about any anti-ageing at this stage'

are you sure you need anti-aging cream? depends how young you are.
i think in your 20s, you need preventative products and a good beauty/cleansing routine. like, put on moisturizer with SPF religiously, cleanse your face, keep away from the sun, don't burn, etc., blablabla.
most antiaging cremes are formulated for more mature skin, so personally i'm a little concerned about them being harsh. may be do some research about gentler formulations?
La Mer is great, though. i'm getting mine 50% off

Shiseido's "Future Solution" is the best anti-aging treatment ever.
A bit expensive at 200 euros but worths it.
Note this is for 35+ skins only, don't tire younger skins with anti-age products if you are youger than that, they can do more harm than good if your skin does not need them.

i dont believe in anti-aging creams......they are just more refined moisturisers
the contents of most of the creams are exactly the same......vitamins A E C, retinol and Q10. they nourish the skin, but they dont physically regerate it
you see a difference because they temporarily increase density and hydration in the skin. as soon as you stop the results will stop too
aging is certain no matter who you are, a high SPF will protect your skin against collagen and elastin damage in the long term, but there are other factors which will cause your skin to look old and worn

but then who on his/her senses would like a discontinue a working anti-age treatment ??
some Shiseido clients say that after using their first jar of Future Solutions, people that have not seen them in a while were asking if they had surgery or injections
its a true miracle cream, trust me, i've been using this for 10 months and i'm extremely pleased. still, good only for 'mature' skins
approaching 30, the collagen in your skin will be degrading very slowly every year. you wont really notice any signs of sagging until you are about 40. but during your 30's you will see small lines deepen and skin density lessen
the best thing you can do for yourself is to use a cream rich in vitamins+copper, eat a healthy diet including lots of green vegetables (the iron is great for collagen) , try and exercise to keep blood flow in order, dont smoke, get plenty of sleep and drink liquid to a) plump your skin and B) to flush out toxins

Seamless, i'm 30 and it does not feel "big"! it's all in your mind. but i do try to adjust my skincare routine, like adding an eye cream & neck cream, because they give away your age. i'm still searching myself for a perfect product. it's not easy, becuase what works for you may not work for soemone else. i hear that La Mer is great, Shiseido, La Prairie, Sisleya, Z Bigatti. a professional derma or facialist will tell you what will work for your skin.
I'll aslo will tell you that staying out of the sun & wering sunglasses is a must! it worked for me, but most my friends love beach & sun, & now they all starting to have wrinkles. if you don't want lines around your mouth, you'll have to quit smoking as well.
also, ther are so many diffrent cosmetic, non-surgery procedures now, they work really well on most people.
most of all, i think enjoying life & not worrying too much works best

Why dont you try drinking Vitamin A and E capsules??? Retinol is vitamin A, which "peels" slowly your skin, and its never something that you wont need, its good to prevent!. Retinol, cant be used on daytime, cause any sunlight or artificial light will deactivate the retinol, and the product will be useless, that is why drinking vitamin A its muuch better.. Also, vitamin E is an antioxidant, that gradually evens out skintone, if you have any scar or anything, get a gelcap and apply it over the whole face ( I reccomend this only for dry skin ) or over the scar... this will work! and its cheap...
Some great products that contains retinol and it prevents aging that I have tried and are really good are:
*No age, by Dior
*Capture R60/80 by Dior
*Estee Lauder's Advanced night repair, for face, and it comes for eyes also ( this one doesnt contain retinol, but its a great product to mantain a well skin fitness)

Sean, what excellent advice!!!! I couldn't agree more!! IMO those so called miracle creams are a waste of money. They can't regenerate the skin, nor can they alter the changes that occur when we age due to fat loss and gravity. IMO (and my Mother's dermatologist's), you can obtain the same hydration benefits from a $2 moisturizer as you can from a $200 cream. I think that the best money spent is on a good sunscreen, great hat, and a diet of fresh and varied foods.

Woo, new here and am LOVING it so far. Thought I'd add my 2c on this thread...
I'm 24, and my childhood of playing outdoors is just starting to catch up with me under my eyes in the faintest of lines and what not. While I've been a sunblock junkie for the last couple of years, the quality and texture of my oily-type skin has drastically improved over the past six months or so after going starting regular use of Retin-A (0.025%) and glycolic acid night-moisturizer, which I alternate nightly. I use a quality moisturizer my esthetician/spa creates themselves, and go for regular glycolic peels and facials (10-20-30%). I use simply Cetaphil cleanser, as it doesn't strip oils.
When I say drastic, I mean drastic! I look at pictures of myself from only six months ago and can't believe the difference in my skin's appearance. It is much clearer, rosier and visibly firmer than I ever thought possible...personally, I don't think any age is too early to start an anti-aging routine, as long as you consult a dermatologist. Better to start taking care of shallow wrinkles now rather than wait until they're deeper! I also use these products on my neck, chest and hands.
Of course, life isn't all about wrinkles. But I seriously am so thrilled with the results from the changes in skincare I've made!
What sunblocks do you all use? Anyone have any experience with Neostrata products? I've heard good things about them...

Sorry not to agree that any 2$ face cream can stand by a good anti-rides treatment.. our skin deserves only the best
shiseido face treatments might be a bit expensive but they seriously work miracles .
