i really don't understand how to apply to antwerp...it's really confusing...
htye have an undergraduate program and foundations? can we go straight out of high school?

i believe candidates must go to Antwerp to take the entrance examination and present portfolio. Although i dont know any specifics on portfolio requirements. maybe someone here attends the school and could be of help?

Through an interview and artistic exercises several competences will be tested. Basic skills, communication, knowledge of and interest in history, art, design, culture and socio-political matters. Interest and knowledge in Fashion with a general curiousity and openness to new experiences and ideas and an individual critical attitude. The entrance examination will be completed by the practical tests like drawing from observation, colour studies related to the course.

This compromises drawings and sketches from plaster casts in pencil or charcoal, and watercolour paintings of a still life of fabrics and garments. All applicants have to present a portfolio containing a selection of drawings sketches, photographs, etc

they aren't really specific about the portfolio .

Hey does anyone know anything about how to apply to this school? I checked out their website but it's pretty vague on their requirements. It's like shrouded in mystery.

Does anyone know anyone who went there? Whats the workload like? I'm thinking about applying and I already go to Parsons in NYC. Any help would be much appreciate!!

the most important thing at their exam is interview, you must be very open-minded and can explain, why do you want study fashion there

I'm graduating this year, and will probably go to school for Fashion Design at the FIDM,

If I got a degre in fashion design there would I be giving up on my dream of going to Antwerp School?

depending on the level of degree there,jamba,you can go for your MA at the Academy after your graduation at FIDM.

i dunno how one applies through their site...best way is to contact them and see if they can send you your info. be sure to contact through FFI route,though.

That is a lot..IMO..

So I have a question..is it expensive???

I really couldn't find any useful info about it..

^They have the prices from, like, 2001 or something in the PDF, but they're in Belgian Francs...so it's very outdated and I'm not sure how to convert them. I'd also like to know!
